Wainy316
I don't think the Dica rumour ever had any substance, it was started by a Romanian tabloid, probably as credible as our rags.
Silent_Bob
Enga did nothing! You need to do some research. According to Wikipedia he has 19 goals and 43 games for them, which was his first professional club. Then: Rosenborg 18 games/18 goals Valencia 84 games/20 goals Roma 20 games/6 goals Besiktas 24 games/13 goals Lyon 31 games/9 goals Total 220 games/85 goals. avfc89
O'Neill's Wright-Phillips waitJan 11 2007 By Hyder Jawad Aston Villa will discover today if their pursuit of Shaun Wright-Phillips, the Chelsea winger, has been successful. Martin O'Neill, the Villa manager, is trying to sign the player on loan and I understand that Chelsea officials, returning from China, will make a quick decision. Initially, Jose Mourinho, the Chelsea manager, would allow Wright-Phillips to go to Villa Park only on loan if Milan Baros moved to Stamford Bridge in return. But Baros is the subject of interest from so many clubs that Chelsea could direct their attention elsewhere. The problem for Villa concerning Wright-Phillips will be the issue of money. He earns £68,000 a week and Chelsea are unlikely to subsidise any of that if the player was on loan elsewhere. Nevertheless, it is a sign of Villa's growing significance that they can even be linked with such a player. Prior to the arrival of Randy Lerner as owner, Villa would have had no chance of signing a winger of this pace and quality.

TRL
Nah internal joke, which nobody got. Not even a joke really, just trying to anger Michelsen a little bit.
Rocafella
I think we definately need a big signing before the end of this week. Looks like ourselves, West Ham and Newcastle are after the exact same players, and nobody wants to come. Surely we are in the situation to spend that extra little bit of 'do on the right players since we are in such a shitty position both with squad size and table. Spend a little extra to get Young/SWP(wages) or Bent.
TRL
IMO we should get Young, SWP AND Bent
jasthevillan
So Rocafella you would be happy if a big signing came on Monday? A crazy statement that, a bit like what Egghead at West Ham says.
Rocafella
So people here chill down, me included, probably you as well. Would ease of pressure for MON and Lerner as well.
El Zen
Enga did nothing! Why bother. Obvious PFE'ing :winkold: John Carew was with Rosenborg for half a season, while he was with Enga for two full years. A player's first professional club will always have great influence on his career. What are you? A friggin' Buffalo? Again, I'm sorry. This must make absolute no sense to non-Norwegians. Shake hands, Tarj?

El Zen
whats enga did i miss something Enga is short for VÃ¥lerenga, my local club and John Carew's first professional club. Of course, Carew would not be where he is today if he hadn't spent two years with the pride of Oslo (eh, Tarj? :winkold: ).
