Jimzk5
if swansea get a 3rd, game over for bburn cus i they wont get the points to catch us, then all we need is 3 points from sunderland/bolton to be safe.

DeepDish
2-0 Swansea. And Blackburn will play Wigan, meaning that at least one of those teams will lose 2 points. I also think they will lose against Chelsea.
hercs23
I'm more worried about QPR I don't think Blackburn will overtake us. if qpr dont get any points today i cant see them overtaking us there remaining games are spurs, chelsea, man city and stoke. all of those teams need to win for different reasons except for stoke
JamesWithe
I dont begrudge anyone getting worried statistically speaking two bad weeks of fixtures and we would be right in the thick of it. Got to say though looking at the premiership table where Villa are as a club is very sad to see.

R.Bear
Yeah its looking a lot better now isnt it? If the results stay as they are, and Arsenal stuff Wigan on Monday as expected, then our inevitable capitulation to United will be largely irrelevant. troon_villan
I've never thought we would be relegated, the scorelines today just nail it though.
Oaks
A few weeks ago when Bolton, Blackburn, Wigan and QPR were picking up wins I did start to panic with several players missing and a manager who is well equipped in getting relegated I did start to worry. 2 wins in 14 and 1 home win in 5 months should and would get rid of this awful manager in the past, but unfortunatly I think we are stuck with him another season. DeepDish
Our goal difference also is as valuable as a point (it is so much better than all the bottom teams). Live table: 15 Villa 32 7 14 11 35-44 35 16 QPR 34 8 7 19 38-57 31 17 Wigan 33 7 10 16 31-57 31 18 Bolton 32 9 2 21 36-65 29 19 BB 34 7 7 20 45-72 28 20 Wolv 34 5 8 21 34-73
