So you would prefer Arsenal, Chelsea or Man Utd to win the league. Teams that have monopolised this league since 93. Or would you prefer Man City to win it after spending all that money.

Spurs should be cheered by neutrals as they play good football and are a fresh team challenging

Either of those sound better to me.

As for their fans, they're like Newcastle. A pretty average club for the most part, but seem to think they're amazing for some reason and come out with some of the most embarassing rubbish.

Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has warned he only wants to do permanent deals for want-away duo Robbie Keane and David Bentley.

West Ham want Keane on loan and Birmingham head a list of clubs who want to take Bentley until the end of the season.

But Redknapp says Spurs want to sell the pair to raise cash for new signings in January. Tottenham are looking to strengthen in attack and in midfield – with David Beckham hoping to complete a loan move.

However, Bentley – wanted by Birmingham, Newcastle, Aston Villa and Fulham – and West Ham and Villa target Keane may have to wait until a big offer comes in.

Redknapp said: “Bentley did well at the end of last season. But he obviously wants to go. He’s not happy because he’s not playing and I understand that. Robbie is the same. He’s too good not to play. But if we want to let people go we need to sell them.”

Tottenham may also let Niko Kranjcar go if anyone matches their £9million valuation. They want £5m for Keane and the majority of their £15m outlay on Bentley back.

bwahahahaha - no wonder their fans are deluded, it stems from their board!!!!

£9m for Kranjcar, £5m for Keane and £15m for Bentley (wonder how much twitchy face would pocket :winkold: ?)

well to me it just comes across as some of our fans are jealous.

Can you imagine what would happen to Redknapp if they won the league? He would become like the vengeful Mickey Mouse on South Park...

To be fair all sets of fans come out with complete rubbish. It's just you tend to notice it more from the clubs that you have a problem with for whatever reason that might be.

The (original) thread started when Jol was sacked I think and they were in the relegation zone.

I feel the same about Newcastle, am I jealous of them? Not particularly. They don't have a complete cock as manager though. But both clubs have a fanbase which 99% are deluded fools.

I work with a Spurs fan. He is a nightmare, **** unbearable. One of the most arrogant fans I've come across, (nice bloke otherwise) but when they were beating us at VP this season he was sending gloating text after gloating text, then when I asked him where Spurs quality kids were he started slating Albrighton, calling him average, "Beaky" etc.... no doubt there are some good Spurs supporters, but they're few and **** far between.

The reason I have a problem with Spurs and Newcastle is because of the rubbish their fans come out with. I've never liked either club because of this, I just like you less now you have that thing as manager.

In defence of Spurs and their fans, Liverpool have the worst fans in the league. Deluded **** still believe they 'deserve' to win the league despite only coming close once in the last 20 years. Shitting hell, as much as I hate to say it, they deserve it no more than Man City deserve it.

Liverpool fans are bad agreed, but then the difference is that it's almost astonishing and noteworth when Liverpool fail to make the CL, which shows that everyone still expects them to be up there even if they don't win the title. When Spurs or Newcastle finish mid-table nobody gives a shit.

They remind me as pretty much the opposite of Villa fans. While we'd still be complaining if we were top of the league and can't seem to say anything positive about the club, they never seem to find anything negative and go on about every little acheivment as if it's never been done before.

The word on the street last week was that Krancjar was Villa-bound.

At that valuation I very much doubt.......

.....unless they are giving us Krancjar and £1m cash for Curtis Davies :winkold:

Your Spurs mate might eat is words.

Should the Welsh monkey be tempted away from Spuds by a big money, big club offer, then 'Arry's first choice for a replacement is Marc Albrighton.

He is extremely high on the Spuds coveted list......
