With lots of talk on whether players and manager’s should accept Saudi money and whether Newcastle should accept blood money and be part of sport washing and whether Qatar or Saudi should be granted World Cups…

Ashley Westwood, is this the one that’s ex of this parish? Anyway, being paid by the Taliban.

Right, wrong, risky?

Not our guy, which explains it. I’d assume he has enough money in the bank to not have to take such mental job offers.

Jonathan Trott is their cricket coach and they're doing really well.  They don't play games in the country, not sure about the football team.  I don't know if they still hang people from the crossbar these days or what.

No chance the football team plays in Afghanistan. The cricket team very rarely do. I think sports are banned by the Taliban bar cricket as it's so popular they would have really struggled to ban it

The ex villa Westwood is probably stealing a living at some league 1 club with his one goal a year, 3 forward passes a year and floaty corners

Currently playing home games in Tajikistan.

But the signing of the contract and squad training and all that was in Kabul.
