MrBlack
Giving Coutinho, Digne and McGinn, Ings and Watkins chance to play themselves into form. Can't argue with that. Giving Luiz chance to earn a starting place, can't argue with that. Not giving Bailey an opportunity harsh. Overall, I would like to see Luiz have a stormer and one of Ings or Watkins to get a hattrick and stake a claim to the lone striker. But if we lose, I honestly wouldn't be surprised. VillaParkAvenue
Cups are nice but keeping youth happy is even more important long term IMO. My idea about cup games against lesser sides is you give youth a chance to shine, but have some of your best players on the bench. If there is a problem, make subs early in the second half to try and secure the win.

With that starting 11 its not even about winning, he needs to smash them when he puts that starting 11 on. I cant believe Archer or Timmy havent got a start, they need to go out on loan asap. Was going to say, a far cry from when Smith would get a convincing win at this stage with the likes of Davis and El Ghazi in attack, Hause in defence and a few of the youngsters in midfield
