I'm sure we were having these score updates this time last year after losing 1-0 at Southampton, we were 17th then.

Win 4 of our next 6 games and this thread will become redundant. Looks very hard but it happened 12 months ago.

We only have United and Brighton then there will be over a month's break.

So if we are bottom 3 after Brighton this thread will be relevant for a long time.

Newcastle were bottom 3 comfortably this time last year, it's too early to be panicking. If we botch up the winnable games in January and February then it's time to worry big time.

If we can get a point tomorrow, win at Brighton and win v Wolves early in the new year we will be on upward trajectory again with still half the season to play so that's how quickly things can turn.

Given how s*** we were under Gerrard it's more a shock to me we're not actually comfortable bottom 3 and are still above the zone just so at least we're still in sight of top 10 just about.

Leeds losing 3-1 now, double annoying that they somehow managed to beat Liverpool, wouldn't be surprised if today's Marsch's last game unless there's a turnaround.

Good for us.

Leeds this season already played Wolves, Everton, us, Fulham and Bournemouth at home so not good record from them to only get one win.

We will be playing majority of those teams from January at VP.

Forest with a late equalizer, but that doesn't really matter too much, nor does Leeds winning really as in terms of relegation didn't really matter which one of them or Bournemouth lost, main thing was Forest not winning and Wolves losing which is what's happened, could have been a lot worse. If Everton beat Leicester this evening then we can't drop in the relegation zone this weekend regardless of what happens tomorrow.

Only problem that Leicester seem to have remembered how to play.
