When he first joined he had a mad run, something like 10 or 11 wins on the bounce but then it went to shit. I know what you're saying, it's just like winning the CL on football manager in your first season with Real Madrid or Barcelona.

Yeah well done, but you've kinda got more resources than most to start with, you've still done it which is great but I suspect others could have also done it.

It's very hard to judge someone like that.

Holes in Everton squad being brutally exposed. They lack a number 9, decent RB and any sort of pace out wide or throughout the team.

There was a good comparison made that it's like when Spurs spent all the Bale money on some average players or Liverpool signing Balotelli and Rickie Lambert to replace Suarez.

Is anyone really surprised? Both had mediocre league seasons last year but given the investment on already good squads and the managers they have it would be criminal for either to finish below 2nd this year.

No it was very easy to predict really that the title will be contended by the Manchester clubs
