Poor result but i'm not concerned. We concede a freak goal within the first minute which 99 times out of a 100 wouldn't go in. We lose our best defender in the first half. I think any team would be shocked. Wednesday defended well, and even though we pushed hard in the second half and applied a lot of pressure, we just couldn't break through. Having said that, we have to bounce back with a win next time out.

Weird post. 3-0 away to Barnsley. 2-1 home to Forest. 4-0 away to Burton. 1-0 home to Bolton. We lost to Wolves but that was to be expected.

I'm not against long ball football. I am against playing long ball football using the wrong system. Hoofing it at Kodjia for 90 minutes is never going to work.

I was pretty annoyed during the match and shortly after. But now i've cooled off, it's not really a bad point. I mean, Blues did beat Cardiff a few weeks ago at home, who are arguably the best team in the league. Second half, after we brought Davis on, we were so much better. It's just frustrating that we started so negatively.

Start that match with Davis up front with Kodjia, and quite simply, we would have won. Negative shite again from Bruce.

God, I absolutely loved that team.

I'd like us to play Davis, even though we played well last week without him. Remember this fixture almost a year ago where Kodjia was incredibly isolated. Get Davis to hold up the ball, let's set up camp around their penalty box and we should beat them easily.

On paper, I'd definitely agree. But from a statistical standpoint, they're not in a false position. It's quite amazing really how they are performing - Warnock is one of the most underrated managers around IMO.
