  1. The statistics show that Cardiff are the best performing side in the league. There's a reason why they're doing so well.
  2. Our U23s are playing tonight and it's being broadcast on Reading FC's Facebook page. Grealish & O'Hare playing.
  3. I think we'll almost certainly make the play-offs, but automatic promotion will probably be a bit too far. Cardiff and Wolves are just looking too strong.
  4. These games always tend to turn into a bit of a slog - I really hope we can just forget about the occasion and just try and beat them with quality.

    John Terry

I'm surprised it's taken this long for him to get his first goal for us. I think he'll go on to get 6/7 goals by the end of the season.
  6. Just watching Whelan makes me angry. Pathetic excuse of a footballer.
  7. One 'bad' game and he drops Davis. Sums it up really.

  9. No complaints. Wolves have a better manager, have better players, and ultimately are a much better team. We defended okay but offered nothing going forward. Pretty depressing stuff.
  10. Absolutely brilliant stuff from Wolves. They're just a lot better than us.
  11. Dreading this. Please don't lose.
  12. Bigger spend doesn't necessarily mean better recruitment. Wolves have Neves, Jota, Cavaleiro and Costa. Three of those have Champions League and/or Europa League appearances. I think there isn't much between the two sides - Wolves will be disappointed if they're not playing Premier League football next year. They've made the better start to the season and are playing very good football. A point would be a very good result.
  13. Helder Costa will be playing right wing for Wolves. If we don't win the Taylor appeal, things could get very ugly.
  14. So, our next five games: Wolves (a) Fulham (H) Birmingham (a) Preston (a) Sheff Wed (H) What is a realistic target from these games? I think I'd be happy with nine points.
  15. I voted for a poor manager performance but that's probably just from the last 20 minutes of the game. We dominated and the game should have been put to bed early on, but we failed to take our chances and Bolton started to get back into it. Samba made a nice block late on, but I don't think he should have been on the pitch. Going to a back five wasn't needed and just made us drop deeper and invited the pressure. I don't think I've seen a more panicky player on the ball than Whelan. Every time he gets the ball, he refuses to look forward and just boots it away under pressure, or passes back to the defenders. Jedinak is a better player but as we have seen, he doesn't really work in a midfield two. Hourihane was good, again, but I'd still like to see him further forward and getting shots off - he has one of the best long range shots in the country, so why don't we utilise it? Davis, Adomah and Kodjia were all quiet but not particularly poor. MOTM was Snodgrass who is showing that he is a class act and is probably unfortunate not to be playing top level football still.
  16. And absolutely rightly so! Can't see us losing this though. 3-0 Villa.
  17. Poor from Adomah. Great run by Davis but he left it way too late to pass.
  18. I thought we played quite well but our attempt at trying to keep possession in the latter stages was abysmal.
  19. "Devastated"? Really? Now Green is a long term absence, who else would you play on the wing ahead of him? Baffling.
