Re: Beaconsfield, you can also go from High Wycombe (M40 J4), some trains start there on the Chiltern Line so you’ve a much better chance of a seat. although the council have now put the car park prices up at the multi-storey by the train station to bring it in to line with the station itself. Otherwise there are residential streets around that you can park on, or Railway Place which is cheaper. There’s also The Rye which is £5 for the day and about a 15 min walk to the train station. There is also a park and ride right by the motorway junction that takes you to the station.

Yes - they showed it during the coverage last night. Speaking of that ‘coverage’ - special word for Andy Hinchcliffe. The man clearly hates us but I’ve never seen anyone swivel on their opinion so quickly, particularly with their second goal, and our penalty shout for Mings I think it was

It was interesting that Jansson in particular (and probably others but that’s who the cameras were focussed on) was regularly taking an energy supplement type thing during the game. I wonder if we do that? If not maybe we should as it might help us avoid being knackered after 70odd minutes.

IF (and it’s a big if) protests were to start against Bruce then it should absolutely involve holding up ‘certificates of intelligence’. Or, a banner hanging from the Holte saying ‘Certified Intelligent... and it’s time to go Steve’ or something along those lines. NB: not in favour of protests yet although I think he does need to go

That summed it all up for me there. Jedinak lets it run out for a goal kick and instead of giving it to Nyland to take it and get the tempo up he just left it there as though it was the opposition’s keeper

For me the game changed somewhere around the hour mark (I forget when, exactly) but the ball went back to Nyland, and it was noticeable that there was no pressure on him but both Chester and Jedinak were pointing down the field for him to go long. He did just that, gave it straight to their keeper and then they had their best spell of the game - at that point I knew it was either going to be Brentford win or a draw, there was just something about that - it felt so negative
