  1. Don't mind this signing one bit. I expect him to be something like a gold edition of Albrighton. Uppgrade, Free, Low Wages, I can't see the issue.
  2. Jealousy is an awful thing to have didn't you learn to leave all that bad feeling at home ? Anyway were talking about Villa/BCFC who is talking about BCFC except you Thing is it's like Barca and Real Madrid us as fans always argue who is the biggest and i guess its the same with Villa and BCFC who is the biggest ? Because right now i,d say BCFC and Villa are about equal. Why are you even here?
  3. I agree on most of what's being said about his performance yesterday, but I thought he did a good job receiving, holding up, and laying off the ball compared to Bent. He helped us retaining possession. Does anyone agree on this or am I completely off here?
  4. Can't belive he just subbes N'zogbia for Weimann instead of Albrighton.
  5. Good thing about Bent being out, is that his horrible first touch is as well.
  6. No subs no nothing. Oh never mind, here comes HESKEY.
  7. To me allbrighton has been invisible except from conceeding a few freekicks and corners. Get Ireland on pretty please.
  8. The pixels kicking the ball on FM2012 are more entertaining then this game.
  9. Great post CarewsEyebrowDesigner! Couldn't agree more.
  10. Is it me or has Albrighton been more or less invisible this match?
  11. Its more than a game especially if your a pro getting payed thousands per week, especially for the fans who spend thousands and dedicate a lot of there lives to. We were poor that day - I wander why? I completely agree Dunne did play there for years and probably did know a lot of people however there is a time and place to joke and laugh about casually - after the game prime example. Which attitude in which video was better to have as a professional sportsmen...? Whats the difference between doing in the tunnel at half time, and doing it after the game? The whistle "has gone" in both occasions. As long as he is focused and up for the game as soon as they kick off I don't see the issue. The video tells you nothing about how he acts in the locker room, just how he acts when meeting some mates in a player tunnel. If it was on the pitch right after conceding a goal I'd completely agree with you though. In my humble opinion a true professional sportsman has a friendly tone with the opposition player but gives his everything for the team as soon he steps on to the pitch. Exactly - Which is fine if you play well on the pitch and are consitent every week. Can you remind me of the score, how many goals we conceded and the general performance...? All I am saying is his attitude could have been a little bit more focused in my opinion. Its when you laugh and joke about and put in a terrible performance that's when things needs to improve. The point I am trying to make is this: We currently lie 14th in the PL, without a home win for a long time, our defense has been shocking. Over the past 2 year Villas performance have been woefully inept. Its ridiculous that you defending players attitude. I am saying that some of the players attitudes need to improve on and off the pitch.- they can give more. I simply cannot believe that YOU think there is absolutely fundamentally NO room for attitude improvement as they all currently give 100%, irrespective of what that video shows. Which attitude from Which video would you prefer during a game..? We can learn and need to improve. We have not got the class of players, we can improve in other areas starting with attitude. This post will mean Dunne will be MOM today after scoring a hat trick in stoppage time after farting in the tunnel before the game whilst doing cart wheels and smoking a fag before kick off..! First off all, I've never ever said there isn't a attitude problem, so please don't put words in my mouth and stick to what I've actually wrote in my post before you respond to it. It might be my fault for not making my point clear enough, so I'll give it another go: I don't like Dunne. Do I think he might have an attitude problem along with other players in club? Yes. Do I think the video you use as "evidence" off Dunne's attitude problem is a good example? No. The Man City players have just the same "attitude" as Dunne, yet they manage to outplay us by a light year. I just think that the video tells you very little about a players attitude on the pitch or in the dressing room. And I choose to judge players by their performances on the pitch and not on how they react when they meet an old friend in the break. Why are you comparing a video of players in the player tunnel to a coach making a speech in a locker room? The first video tells you nothing about the situation in the latter. Besides that I agree with the fact that every player should give their everything in respect for the people paying their wages. And that some senior players need to work on their attitude. I agree with many of your points, I just don't think the video you're using to back up your arguments has anything to do with it.

  13. I believe he has the potential to become a good player for the club. There is quite a few things "I've" noticed about him that i find appealing. Please correct me if I'm wrong or you disagree with my "I'm a scout dribble". (I have the tendency to remember the youtube moments and not the average ones) My 2 cents on Bannan: 1. Always seems to have a passing option in mind before he receives the ball(more or less). 2.Good at moving with the ball at his feet(at a slow tempo). Noticed him trotting around with the ball at his feet while 2-3 players try to close him down without giving away possession. 3. Good at switching play, and finding players when others would have passed back to defense. 4. Good first touch and short passes. 5. When it comes to the hollywood pass I agree that he tries it a bit to often. The timing of his release and the reaction of others players seems to be a bit off at times. But I believe that this is something that will improve with experience. More experience will also improve his decision making. I'd rather see Bannan dropping deep to get the ball from defense and try a Hollywood pass that has a chance of an end product then Collins hoofing it over the sidelines. 6. His movement seems decent in around the midfield when we have possession, but a bit lacking when going forward. 7. Defensively he doesn't add much even though he tries hard. (Sorry for messy post, poor grammar etc. I've been awake for 30 hours)
  14. if it were purely bout a kit and how it looks you are right it isnt though is it nowdays it is about branding, marketing aston villa as a business to generate as much income as possible, especially as it seems money wont be flowing quite as it would so maximising revenue should be a priority so with that in mind as it is the biggest reason for changing kits for the majority of all professional teams will macron pay us more than nike ? what about brand awareness? distribution? outlets? marketting? advertising? and all of the above is not just for o=in the birmingham area but world wide, the premier league is the most watched league in the world. so global branding where is macro the biggest manufacturer of top league football? so nike wins on every single level but what about public perception? well who has heard of nike and who had heard of macron before this kit thing? what none replica shirt items have you bought which are aston villa branding made by nike? is it more than you bought under hummel? for me my family have bought lots of aston villa nike products, we bought a few reebok ones, wont be buying a macron anything im afraid. so, lets say macro pay us £15 million per season ( more likely £2 million per season how much extra do you think it wold generate through aston villa as a world wide brand? hmmm i bet nike would still at least come out even stevens if macro paid us £15 million more over the contract. so how then does it make any financial sense? because as a business this is what we should be most concerned with then we come to the shirts and the quality of them, again having seen 1 west ha,m shirt in the person i can honestly say the shiny thin clingy material feels poor, feels weak and doesnt even hang well on my mate who is in decent physical shape god knows what it would look like on a chubster, which to be fare, alot of fans are 'big boned' the decision seems to make no commercial sense, make no sense when it come to quality of product and only makes aston villa the brand look cheaper. something i thought randy had spent the last 5 years trying to build up? no sense what so ever. Where did you get your info from regarding the link between brand and merchandise turnover? His 8 year old son who has most intelliegence.
  15. The saying patience is a virtue falls short in so many ways here at VT.
  16. I have no idea why people bother to much about the color or his car, interior of his house or his clothing. It has absolutely nothing to do with mental state nor his ability to play football.
  17. If this were in Italy we would probably be investigated for fixing the match.
