Top six and a good cup run were my expectations this season. I actually thought our good cup run might be in the Waffa but two good cup runs in the domestic cups has surpassed my expectations. If we finish top 6 now which we should then this will have been a great season. even if we finish lower its obvious to see we are making progress and in the end that's all you can ask for. We've seen enough seasons staying still or going backward pre the Randy-lution.

Friedel 7 - solid display Cuellar 5 - poor passing and crossing and I cant understand why he is in the team ahead of L.Young. Warnock 7 - did well, despite a few errors Dunne 6 - His error ended up costing us a goal but hard to blame the big man given what a player he has been for us this season. Collins 7 - gave it everything. Downing 7 - a good display, tidy on the ball and good crosses. Petrov 8 - Excellent Milner 8 - Work rate was phenomenal Young 7 - Offered a real threat, ran his heart out. Gabby 9 - gave vidic the run around/ Heskey 5 - did better in the second half but doesn't offer any real threat. Despite phil dowd I think united were the better team and rooney coming on was the difference, he's a class apart. Happy with the team though, they gave it everything. Must win the FA cup now...

We'll have to agree to disagree. I don't think delph would be caught out of position if he was to play in a midfield 3 with petrov holding, as if he was caught out petrov or milner would be there to mop up. If it was a 4-4-2 system then you'd be right IMO as delph would be a liability against Man Ure with only one CM partner.

3-0 To Man Ure. I think those advocating the 4-5-1 system are right. Carew is a useless sack of crap this season and it would be pointless to play him in this game if Heskey isn't fit. Throw Delph into a 4-5-1 and try to keep it tight and maybe sneak a draw.

One point to note about the game was Carew's horrific performance. What a sack of crap he has become. He has been nothing short of dire all season and the attempted back flick shot was laughable. Definitely need to replace him ASAP. He seems to have lost all interest in playing for us.

The trick to getting a player's name on your jersey is to get someone totally random, eg. my Salifou 17 jersey. If I was you I 'd get sunday monday Habib Beye 23 on the back or Collins 29. Milner 8 is too obvious...

gabby doesn't anticipate anything he always just reacts. So frustrating.

Looking forward to this game as I think this is the real litmus test of whether we can compete for 4th this season or not. Can't help but think both teams would take a draw. Hopefully I can get a good stream

Its going to be an open enough 6 nations this year I think, Ireland and France will probably fight it out for the title. Can't see anyone doing a slam.

No. I think its down to the fact that now we are challenging for top 4 the amount of (available) players that can improve us decreases dramatically. IMO there's very little chance of bringing in the top quality striker we need in January. Everyone is saying we need a goalscorer but so does every team and they don't grow on trees. Hopefully we can get a top class striker in the summer but I'd be shocked if we sign anyone in this window.

I was asking those same questions especially the first one (I assume L.young is carrying an knock). I don't think I'll ever understand MON's hatred of using substitutions. One thing we did learn though is that if a team sets out to pack the midfield and get a 0-0 against us chances are they'll get it because we have no way to break teams down. We are counter attack or bust, there's no plan B and until we find one we won't ever finish top 4. (IMO).

This is great to hear, especially the bit in bold. I for one can't wait to see the plans for the redevelopment.
