  1. i am begging all villa fans please stop singing this song Enit. Yet another crap chant already used by half of the league before we adopted it. Same goes for the vast majority of our chants these days. So dull.
  2. I was treated/subjected to a version of this on the tube after Fulham last week. One of our lot fell up the stairs in the station before blaring out "FIIIIIIVE DABIAN FELPHS" etc etc. Dabian Delph got a mention too.
  3. Watched some Sunday League this morning, both teams passed the ball with more assurance than we've ever looked capable of this season. We're so poor at fundamental things. Really depressing.
  4. What the **** is Lambert telling Gabby to do of late. Doesn't track back and then swamps Benteke when we're going forward. They're hardly going to play intricate 1-2s with each other. Put him wide for **** sake and allow the front 3 some room to operate.
  5. My least favourite fixture on the schedule. Lost 22 of 28 in the league against these words removed since the 99/00 season.
  6. The Chargers win at Arrowhead and Mile High but lose to Oakland and Washington.
  7. Do you think he'll suddenly be not completely shit like every other time he has played? You want him to play against United? We might as well play with 10 men. I struggle to see what he offers us too but he's a better bet than Weimann currently.
  8. Don't think Bacuna merits a place in the team from the start on current form. He's gone to pieces since that error at Albion unfortunately. I'd play Lowton at RB but no idea who is the best option to play on the right in midfield or part of the front 3. Albrighton and Tonev should be considered ahead of Weimann imo.
  9. Fingers crossed Bazza Bannan can put in one of his trademark bone-crunching tackles on Suarez when Palace play the scousers in the penultimate game of the season.
  10. It's been painful watching him for United for the past 18 months or so. His play has become alarmingly predictable.
  11. And look who the ref is. I'd recognise that waddle anywhere. Twunt.
  12. 3 off for Blackpool as they lose at Huish Park. Back to back wins for Yeovil!
  13. Only 12k down at the Sty tonight for a home draw v. Doncaster. How **** depressing must it be to support that shower?
  14. Poor manager who was never a good fit at Wigan imo. They have a very good squad for that level but performances and results have fallen well below the level the fans and Dave Whelan could rightfully expect.
  15. Can't see them not setting up for a point. They've probably got the slowest back 4 in world football & Poyet will surely be wary of avoiding a repeat of last season where they played into our hands by pushing up too much which led to the concession of Weimann's goal.
  16. Are we really trying to one-up local rivals by saying they celebrate important Derby goals with more enthusiasm than us? Pretty laughable imo. I was at the Sty for the second of Gabby's winners and it was **** unreal. We make more noise, travel in greater numbers and our celebrations of big goals look fantastic on tv. Wouldn't have it any other way.
  17. Townsend yells "get in" as Thauvin's shot heads towards the bottom corner. More fabulous stuff from the big man.
  18. We played Wolves in early December that season. Started the day in 18th but got a hugely important 3-2 win and never looked back. Jlloyd got an England call up in March just after we won at Charlton lol
  19. No extra allocation according to the ticket office.
  20. Eagles look set for first win at the Link since September 2012. What a god awful record.
  21. If he was any good people clubs would want to sign him. Simple as. I'm sure we wouldn't mind funding a small percentage of his wage until the end of the contract for him to move on and have the majority of his salary off the books. I'll always remember the couple of weeks he got injured in March/April of the McLeish season and Lichaj came in for the Chelsea game at VP and gave a performance that was infinitely better than Hutton anything had managed all season. He played with greater desire, intensity and quality. Lichaj is now in the Championship, Hutton just needs to realise that's his level too.
