  1. It's also their 'thing' to stick with the same ending as the book they have adapted. They did it with No Country and True Grit. Fair play to them if you ask me.
  2. Chooooon! Especially when he does a full acoustic version live.
  3. Apart from Caine I thought it was average stuff to be honest Bri. Also found it came across as 'Daily Mail - The Movie' with how the youth were portrayed. Scene with Sean Harris was the highlight of the movie for me, but he's always a decent nutter.
  4. Stuck on a movie quiz question, so I'm hoping someone on here can help. It's a movie from 1993-1995 and the visual clue is five women standing next to each other in various black dresses. Any ideas? It's driving me mad. The other four movies are ridiculously easy so I think this one might be so obvious I'm missing it. ***EDIT*** Worked it out, it was Little Women. Right, better do some work.
  5. Best football we've played since the West Ham game. Great result and an inspired performance from Pires.
  6. Meh, looks crap.* *may contain traces of sarcasm.
  7. Having a relatively easy next two days after completing some big projects the last few weeks. Feet up and relax I think.
  8. He did Bittersweet Life and Tale of Two Sisters which were both excellent, so I would say you should be pretty safe. Looking to see that one myself. Just watched it Scott. It's f***ing immense to be honest, one of the best movies I've seen for a while. A really dark, original and incredibly violent take on the serial killer genre, with top notch direction and performances throughout. It also spawns one of the great screen villains in Min-sik Choi (Oldboy) in top form as sadistic murderer Kyung-Chul. VERY recommended. Few reviews here
  9. That makes us two. Somehow I never saw it when I was a kid even though most of my friends did. Now I've been thinking that it's just a good film to those who saw it when they were kids and I've never bothered to watch it. I might reconsider that. I think I know a store who had it on blu-ray for about £9. I'll look for it. It's a movie that is very much 'of it's time' but that actually adds to it's charm. I think it's fantastic.
  10. Beat me to it. Absolutely love that movie, particularly these three... 8)
  11. Seriously, though mate you should watch it. It's Ian Dowie's best movie by a mile.
  12. It was directed by Roberto Benigni. If you ever want to watch a **** up movie, then watch his Pinocchio.
  13. Source, Candi Staton - You got the Love (Original Bootleg)
  14. Bold statement. If it's anything like that I may have to do a little sex wee.
