There are a lot of pessimists on here. Here is my view. stoke and sunderland to draw - villa 13th 40 pts. Wigan are decent at this end of the season but they will get a point at swansea at best - villa 13th 40 pts. villa to lose to chelsea - villa 13th 40 pts. fulham and stoke to lose with sunderland,southampton, norwich and newcastle all picking up a point - villa 14th 40 pts. wigan then lose to arsenal - villa 14th 40 pts. last day - norwich to lose, newcastle, stoke and s'land to pick up a point. fulham and sunderland to lose, villa and wigan pick up a point each - villa 13th 41 pts. wigan relegated.

Fulham are actually in a bit of trouble now as well...i wonder...

I haven't said anything about Bannan in terms of last night, in fact, he had one of his better games for us last night apart from his awful delivery. I'm talking about Bannan as a player. Not good enough. If you want a scapegoat for last night then take your pick from the starting 11, although Joe Bennett (the worst footballer I have seen in a Villa shirt) would be my choice.

That's not what I said. I said Bannan has gone beyond the whole 'he has potential'. As in - There was a point a couple of years ago where you could say, he's got potential, give him more chances to see what he can do. Yeh he makes mistakes but he's only young. Now he is featuring in almost every prem game because we have no other options. He is plaing regularly and regularly making costly mistakes. Regularly not deliviering good corners and free kicks. He needs to go at the first opportunity. PS, the best crosser in the league? is this a joke? We can't have one scapegoat when they're all as shit as eachother.

I hope the 'new grounds' you are talking about are the ones of the newly promoted teams from the championship. But I suspect you will be talking about the inevitable.

Relegation is not an option. I want Faulkner to resign. I want us to appoint someone with not only with experience of football and a business savvy mind but someone who loves the club. Ian Taylor instantly springs to mind, Graham Taylor etc. I want Lerner to open up to the fans about his true feelings. Has he lost interest? Why is he not showing us any fight? Is there investment? JUST TELL US. If he really cares then ask our opinion. I want him to sell the club to someone who sees us for what we are. A HUGE club with a FANTASTIC history and tradition that should be better off than we are. I want Lambert to carry on with his vision for us, but with better investment and better players. I want Ireland, Bent, Given, Makoun, Dunne, Warnock and Hutton to **** off. It makes me sick that some fans will be struggling to pay the bills whilst working their arses off at various occupations, yet these tossers can turn up, play shite and still be millionaires. I want Lambert to have options to divide the remainder of the squad. Who is good enough or truly has premier league potential (Clark, Weimann etc)? Who is not good enough for the premier league? (Bennett, Bannan, Herd etc). Those are all for the future. Right now I want every single player who was involved in the semi's, the chelsea match, the spurs match, and the wigan match to give the money they earned in appearances and donate it to a Leukeamia (sp) charity on behalf of Stylian Petrov. The one thing I always loved about Villa, and thought for sure it was back when Lerner arrived was having some class. I hope that is not lost.

Bannan is 23 now. A Scottish International. He has had premiership experience with Villa. He is beyond the whole 'he has potential'. He is a championship player at best. I'd love to get rid but we can't. We don't exactly have much better options.

Bennett is not even League 2 level, as last night proved beyond doubt.

It's not solely about relegation. It's about the complete state of the whole club and all it's affairs come the end of the season, relegated or not. I was wondering what peoples views are. No chance, Ireland has class, skill, can pick a pass, gets stuck in, can score goals. Bennett put in one good cross. Every other time he plays the ball to an opposition player. Can't tackle, head, panics. Has not got a clue.

My 'prediction' for the end of the season is that we will have been knocked out at the semi's of the league cup (obviously), we will have been knocked out of the FA cup after a 4th round replay, losing on penalties to Millwall at VP. In the league, I can see us finishing 18th, losing out on goal difference to QPR, with us, Reading and Wigan going down. The Xmas period has really **** us for goal difference and I just can't see us turning it around. Our remaining fixtures are: Newcastle (H) - DRAW Everton (A) - LOSE West Ham (H) - DRAW Arsenal (A) - LOSE Man City (H) - LOSE Reading (A) - WIN QPR (H) - DRAW Liverpool (H) - LOSE Stoke (A) - DRAW Fulham (H) _DRAW Man Utd (A) - LOSE Sunderland (H) - DRAW Norwich (A) - LOSE Chelsea (H) - LOSE Wigan (A) - DRAW In terms of everything else. In May Lerner and Faulkner will still be here, so will Lambert and there will be no new signings. I used the premier league predictor on BBC to see where we would finish.

The worst footballer at Villa Park I have seen in the last 20 years. Not an exaggeration. Anybody name someone worse than him that has played for Villa.
