This. It's all well and good saying Hutton gets up and down the wing all game but if there is no final delivery when he's forward then his endless running is pretty pointless. We need a RB that can defend as well as get forward and put decent balls into the box. Basically a RB that perform all areas of his job...

I agree, he's not good enough. We need a proper midfielder to be brought in this week to take his place in the team. But when he does play the fans should be behind him 100%, the same goes for Lescott, Richards & Gabby. Booing players affects the whole team and should have stopped this season.

Some ridiculous comments on here. Bacuna had a decent game today, he worked hard for the team despite receiving endless abuse from his own fans. At the end of the day he made a stupid comment last season, which was massively taken out of context because of the circumstances the club were in. If he's out on the pitch working for the team this season then the fans should be behind him for 90 minutes. Last season needs to be put behind us completely.

I love that Jedinak is purely linked to Villa at the moment because of the fans, not one mention of Villa being interested in the media. I for one think he would be fantastic in our midfield and would be a player we have been crying out for for years! If we do sign him it would show that the club are in fact listening to the fans. Which won't work, Bristol don't want to sell so if they see us 'looking at other options' they will be relieved and carry on their preparations for Saturday with Kodija. We should just stick the 13 million down and get him in so he can train with the side before Sunday's game 50 million to spend we were told, so far we haven't even broken, what 10 million? Gollini Bacuna Okore Elphick Amavi Sanchez Westwood Tshibola Adama Grealish Ayew Bacuna over Hutton just because out full backs are consistently having to get forward and not making it back in time to cover their defensive duties. Bacuna and Amavi are a lot more capable of getting up and down the pitch and putting decent crosses into the box. Adama and Grealish both need to pull out wide to help out the full backs though and create space... something we rarely do anymore!

But as long as the players don't have release clauses in their contract we have no reason to sell. We don't need the money, and in certain cases (Amavi & Ayew) we won't be able to replace them in terms of quality. Gueye can go if he wants, he was average last season. If he wants to stay then that's great but he's not the make or break in achieving promotion this season. We just need to get rid of some deadwood as soon as possible and strengthen areas before we get too far into the season. A striker before next Sunday is certainly needed!

To be brutally honest, he looked way off the pace. With his current fitness he is still a mile away from being able to cut it for 90 minutes, even 45 minutes in the Championship. But as has been mentioned above another month or two to shed a bit more weight and you never know! I would love to see him back next season personally.

Cissokho is one of the worst left backs we've had at Villa... (One of, I know we have had plenty). I hope he is nowhere near our team next year.
