I know that this could seem strange after MON's reign! Since when did Bannan become a 'in the hole' player?. He's always played wide when I've seen him From the little i've seen off him hes played in the hole, rather then a winger. I assumed it was his prefered position. But i may be wrong. The original point i was making was that I dont think Ash is the right player for the role Kmac is trying to use him and i'd rather see someone more specialised there.

I hate when players are asked to play injured, if they aren't 100% and its clearly making them play worse surely it must be better to just rest them a fews. Its even worse when the backup player is just as good. CC and Collins would be a top pairing in the Premier league, its a Kmac is tactically inept.

He looks good , hopefully he can actually get some game time, would much prefer him playing behind the striker to A.Young.

As long as we don't try Ireland and Petrov as the middle 2 we should at least get a draw. I'm hoping for the same starting 11 against everton or maybe Downing out and Ireland in. Think Albrington will find this game easier, Stokes fullbacks dont really overlap so there wont be as much tracking back, but given the way they hoof through the middle, the Attacking CM will need to play deeper to link play properly. Great performance from the defence today. We got lucky that Ireland got injured and Coker came in otherwise there is no way we would have won the way we did. Also think that we should have taken Downing and/or Albrighton and put on Cuellar just for the extra body in the box. Bring on stoke!

The idea of Koeman is really growing on me. He's managed in 3 different leagues, he has had some good spells and some bad spells but he seems very keen on England and sees Villa as a good opportunity for him. He's 47 so he's the perfect age for what we are looking for, young enough to build a legacy and manage for a long spell, but old enough to have experience and demand respect. Get him in.

Yeah i'm curious as to why some of u are against him, given where we are as a club I think he'd be a pretty good manager.

To get the best value out of it you'll need to rewatch it at least twice, there is a lot of very clever foreshadowing and little jokes that are missed the first few times you watch it.

To be fair that was just terrible to watch. I watched our entire defeat to Chelsea last year and Pool the year before, but I had to switch this game off after it was 4-0. This was the worst performance i've seen by Villa and i hope to never have to see such a dreadful performance again.
