The unfortunate truth. But once again i will hope that Heskey doesn't start and L.Young plays at rb.

I'll take a point at Stoke but i wish we'd risk it more to win. A win and loss is better than 2 draws and in games like this the risk is well worth the return. Our defense was great, did their job and did it well. Our attack was impotent we didn't really look like scoring. Playing Heskey and Carew up front doesn't mean we should play hoofball they both play better with the ball at their feet. King Carlos should not do long throw ins!!!! the reason Delaps throws are dangerous isn't the distance its the trajectory. Throwing loopy balls into the box is useless.

Geez that was not very fun to watch at all. Lets hope for 15 minute of magic again.

Out of any team in the Premier league Stoke are the last team i want the fonz starting against... unless you truly believe in baptism by fire.

Well seeing as we are playing a mid week game if Gabby isn't 100% fit no need to start him. I am just hoping that we decide to actually start this game before the 2nd half because stoke will hurt us if we let them dominate as much of the game. Thinking 2-0 with Carew and Milner to score

Stokes home record this season is 6-4-4. Their home ground is far from the fortress it was last season. We should be winning this game. Thinking it be 3-1.

Looking like more March Madness for MoN. Seriously Carew and Heskey up front is fail. The defense has been a joke. No communication. Get Carew off at half time and put either Delph or The fonz on. Both know how to score and both have a lot more energy than that over-paid garbage impersonating Carew this season.

What actually constitutes a successful season for you?

I'm already satisfied with what we have achieved in the cups (though given who are left in the fa cup and the game coming up would be a little dissapointed if we got knocked out now). 7th is the bare minimum. Would like 4th place but would be happy if we stay in the race for 4th until mid April. -
Agree with so much Samuel has said. Watching it on tv i was just waiting for Dowd to pull out the card but it just never came. It was as clear a red as you get. Whats worse is that he then starts booking Villa players for late tackles and ignores it when carrick does the same thing literally one minute later. But i have given up on refs this season the only thing i want to see is both teams treated the same but i could be waiting a while.
