So What,I thought this forum is about football not politics. I've been a Villa fan for nearly 60 years and I am a Conservative member and I don't understand
what on earth that has to do with football!!
Just to clarify. VAR only clarified 2 decisions tonight , not changed them. Before VAR the handball would not have been given and the linesman flagged for offside
for the "goal" so neither wopuld have been given. VAR just confirmed that both decisions were correct. No argument really!!
I was there that night standing behind the goal. The Villa fans spent the whole game singing "Dean Smith is a Villa fan" until Jota scored his second and Brentfords third and then it turned to "What the f***ing hell was that" as Bruce had to walk across the pitch past them at full time. Brentford and Jota in particular were brilliant that night. It seemed a long journey home!!
The truth is that despite everything going against us we now look a very good side. I'm also glad due to the circumstances this game comes
before the more winnable Newcastle game. What a change from this time last year. I now really believe we can give anybody a run for their
money!
It's a long season and there will be loads of rotation and he will get plenty of game time.
McGinn and Grealish for instance are one booking away from a suspension!!
This is the guy who says he can't understand why Jack is not at a "top" club (even though he actually is!)
and that he is certain to leave this summer (which he's actually not)
It's the test date that matters. They or anyone in contact with them has to isolate for 10 days from the day after the test. If they show no signs they are free after that. Obviously if some of them tested positive later in the week then their isolation starts the day after that test but everybody else should be OK from Thursday
I know what you mean but it's not like they would all play together in the Prem. I think a few of them could certainly come on off the bench
and make a difference in certain games. Louie Barry and the full backs for certain would not look out of place within the structure of our
first team
No it wouldn't. Different competition, we will be allowed to postpone the Spurs and Everton games without penalty
The FA Cup rules say we have to play if we can field 14 players including youth players which we probably can!!
