Er ok. I'm responding to the point you are making that he did nothing wrong. I'm saying that he did something wrong by bottling 50/50 challenges. Anyway like I said I don't hate the guy, I don't think he's terrible just don't like him as a player. I certainly don't think he should be booed at all, neither any of the players. I did hear general booing at half time which I thought was very odd. Anyway this is done - if he plays next time let's hope he tries a bit harder. I don't suppose you have a twin brother do you?

Yes really. I was about 30 yards away watching with my own eyes. I watched him go for a 50/50 challenge a few times only to pull out at the last second. I want the player to fight for every challenge, if he did maybe wouldn't get so much stick. This is the main problem with him-he's not that bad, just not that good. He can be on the pitch looking like he's making a contribution, but actually not doing anything much at all. Compare him to midfielders we've had like Milner, Barry ,Ian Taylor, David platt, cowans... Come on, how low have our expectations dropped for fans on here defending him as 'good player'? Im sure he's a nice guy, but top quality midfielder, don't think so

I'm no fan of Westwood, think he looked lost when he came on, and doesn't offer much, bottled challenges again.. However no player should be booed... To be honest I couldn't hear anyone booing him from m1 in the Trinity, none at all. He's never awful, but never really any good either..

Instead of choosing who would be our favorite manager right now, unfortunately I think we need to look at it a bit more business like.. We need a certain type of manager to get our squad working and promoted, then as much as I dislike it if we do get promoted we need to replace them straight away with a different type of manager... Someone like bruce/fat sam/Warnok would do the first job well, then onto someone Wagner later once promoted. I heard someone once say on the radio you need 3 squads, one to get promoted from the championship, another to stabilize in the prem, then another to push for anything... This probably needs 3 different types of manager also. We need to focus on what we need now - not what we would like in the prem. By the way I can't stand Warnok but like a previous poster mentioned do you think our squad would get away with poor performances if he was waiting for them afterwards?

I think we play the useless bast@rds that got us relegated until the last home game when we are confirmed down, so the fans can show the, what they think. Make them play. the next day ban them from training and play a new 11 made up of the u21's and a couple of others who have put some effort in for the remaining couple of games. They have no pressure to win anything and will draw a line in the sand for us - we could get behind a 'new' team for the last 2 or 3 games..

Really ? What do you expect at the moment ? The board have thrown in the towel, the football's been sh*t for 5 years at least and we were relegated before half the season has gone. Our new chairman tells us that spending money wont fix anything... hmmm.. A 4-0 drubbing by a man city says different. I'm afraid most fans just don't care anymore - why should they ? Throw another £50 away today for a certain beating, no thanks. Ironically I've attended more this season than for a long time, but no more... The board's activity in the transfer window has told us what we need to know. If they aren't bothering why should I ? In some ways I'm quite glad the attendance is dropping... it might get a few messages over to the board. If they serve up this dross and get us relegated but we still turn up with 35-40,000 fans what message does that send out ? That we are quite happy with what's going on ? I wish they would stop stating that we spent £60m in the summer. We didn't. Well technically we did, but the figure that matters is the NET figure. Which I think was around £10m. That's probably not accurate but it doesn't really matter. The point is we have spent about the same or less in most of the last few seasons. I don't have the accounts to hand but I reckon that the club could probably cover most of the £10m without randy having to contribute very much personally. Its either spin from Hollis , or he really doesn't understand much at all, in which case we are in even more trouble. It doesn't matter if we spend 60m on a number of new players, if we lose 3 or 4 for £50m. The overall team quality doesn't change much, if anything it has gone down. And to say money doesn't matter in today's premier league is baffling....Man City a good example ? any of the top 4/5 really.. Our normal summer is to spend net £10m on a number of players, whilst teams such as Arsenal might spend £40m on Ozil alone. Money really doesn't matter does is steven ? Maybe that is why we are currently bottom of the league, about to get relegated. Of course lots of things need to be fixed, but its clear this guy is here to try and give the impression things are being fixed whilst spending NO money. All the rhetoric about everything needing to change except the investment levels means we are heading straight to league 1 gents.....
