I'm not sure it'll drive down attendances. If i can't get to (because of work) or can't afford it that week I can't go to Villa park. I'd love to be able to pay £5-10 to watch it on TV. If I'm off work and have the cash, I'm not going to choose to stay home and watch on TV rather than go to the ground. It gIves those of us who can't get there in time /don't have the cash /aren't in the country that week the chance to follow the villa. And iit'll bring some cash into the club.

So you just need a vpn service to appear to be abroad, and for the sky televised games you know where you can get those from. As long as all the villa games are being televised somewhere then they will be available im sure.

Welcome JT. For me this is about what he brings to the squad as much as anything else. I believe a big reason we haven't seen a lot of our 'youth' players 'make it' is because of the extremely poor squads we've had for the past 5+ years. The youth players need to be around top quality senior players to progress.. its like any other job - its who you learn your trade from.. If you're a youth player at Barcelona watching and learning from the likes of Messi, suarez, Iniesta etc.etc. do you think you have a better chance of turning out a top player than if you were training at bodymoor heath picking up tips from Gabby/Richards/Bacuna etc.... The players need some quality around them to learn from , and this signing might just do that. Maybe just for the defence; but I reckon some of that winning mentality and general football intelligence will undoubtedly rub off on other members of the squad. It's not all about what he might do on the pitch himself - if it lifts the squad performance all season by 10% then its worth it, even if he doesn't play a minute on the field..

I don't think it will. We are so far away from playing well. Is not like you can see us playing a system every week, creating lots of chances and just being slightly unlucky, just close to it 'clicking'. We literally look like we have no idea what we are doing, or trying to do. Bruce goes on about all these 40 or 50 chances we've had and we just need to be more clinical in front of goal. This is nonsense, I havent seen these chances. He's just playing the stats.. Barley any of them are real, solid, well constructed chances. They are mostly hopeful long shots etc..

Changing the whole team has been an issue. From last night I think only Hutton was in the team last year. We needed to do it, but never the less its hard to integrate a whole new team. For me the manager is too negative, as have been most in the recent past. And when the pressure builds you need a huge character to motivate the team and deflect the pressure. Someone like Mon could do this, or Harry redknapp, or big Ron etc.. Not so much garde, lambert, Bruce etc... We need someone with a big enough ego to handle the job, I don't think that's Bruce.

There are tactical errors everywhere. Bruce just doesn't know how to play them, and is far too defensive, which is never going to suit them. Bruce has always been defensive, it was never going to be any different.

I think Leicester might be challenging us for that title!

Lansbury has been our best player imo. Shit goal to let in, but a tad unlucky. Because we do NOTHING going forward every goal conceded kills us.

We have a lot of the ball, , but don't create anything substantial going forward, nothing at all. We have a few aimless crosses going in, which make the stats look good, but in reality they are never going to score from them. Just no real solid creativity.
