    Got mine tonight.....although I do get on with people at work, 'work' is the only thing we all have in common and so we inevitably just end up talking about work. So it becomes a bit like just being pissed in the office. And we had to pay £20 to bring a guest too! Must be to cover the huge fee the band 'Diamond Geezers' charge to perform at office Christmas parties.

    It's a chaps birthday in the office, we've just had the generic stand round their desk whilst we give them a card and a comedy gift, and one of the women in the office bought him one of those cards with a tinny, shrill recording in it that plays when you open it. She stares at him waiting for him burst out with laughter at someone doing an awful impression of Del Boy, he forces a giggle......it's just excruciating. The point I'm making is, cards with recordings in it. And people that buy them thinking they're funny. That pisses me off.

    Have got a ticket for Frightened Rabbit in Exeter tonight but I can't go......I'm furious. However, Biffy at Plymouth Pavilions on Wednesday eases the pain.

    And Easter weekend the weekend before!! Book the 3 midweek days between Easter Monday and Royal Wedding Friday off work and you get a week and a half holiday for the price of 3 days holiday used. Genius!

    I know it's not something you can judge a player on, but did you see some of his practice shots in front of us before the game at Craven Cottage?! Firing them literally into the very top corner of the net......Guzan just stood and applauded him! Come on Barry lad.....14/1 first goalscorer with Ladbrokes....

    Think Blackpool will attack us, which should suit us really - we've been playing pretty well, so I think we're due the win. Bannan should know the inside track on Blackpool too! 2/3-0 Villa.

    Bolton at home has been a good fixture for us the last few years - a nice 2 or 3-0 for us I think.

    2 of their best 3 players last year has been sidelined by Mancini in Given and Bellamy Judging by the team he played at Spurs yesterday, it looks as if he's going to be ultra-defensive this year - 3 defensive midfielders! So I guess if he's only going to play 3 attacking players, Bellamy was always going to be left out...

    Think someone mentioned this in another thread, but would anyone be against having Laursen in as Macdonald's 2nd??? I know we shouldn't get excited after one game.....but I'd think I'd cry if that happened! 2 men that know our club and players inside out....

    Oh come on, is it really that bad!?!?! Did you really have that bad a time last season watching us get to Wembley, beating Utd, Chelsea, Liverpool.....good god man! Things could be alot worse....surely the O'Leary days, finishing 16th aren't that far in the past to forget?

    I desperately hope this Flamini link has some substance to it - a 5 man midfield of Flamini, Petrov, Young, Miner and Downing would be devastating....
