    He played really well on Saturday and that goal will give him a welcome boost. Hopefully playing more of a possession game will suit him more and we can see the real Stewie D!

    Aren't Fenerbache on the verge of signing Robinho for 19m? We can't compete with that sort of spending power. They are a big club, who. I assume, are playing CL footy this year?

    I really liked the kit yesterday, it's a great design imo, I will buying one when they come out. I bought one of the purple training waterproof jackets yesterday due to the crap weather, and really like that also, a great purchase that will last for years, very happy with it. Will give it its away debut at Newcastle next week

    The more I think about Leonardo the more the idea grows on me. Only suggested him as he was the first person who popped into my head when thinking of Milan. Could be a possibility I guess, would be an inspired appointment. I wonder if this could start a new rumour and an slash in odds

    Clark did brilliantly yesterday and I would have no qualms in selling Davies and having young Clark as our 4th choice centre back. He looks to have a bright future and hopefully one day become an England centre half.

    I can see this appointment being a shock and somebody not mentioned! I'm not sure why I have that feeling but I do. Time will tell. I'm excited by the prospect of somebody coming in who is willing to gamble of the likes of Remy and the like! I'm looking forward to this season unfolding!

    Maybe Curbishly is holidaying out in Italy this August? At least Lerner jetsetting across Europe show's he isn't settling for any Average Joe Bloggs, and is scouring the market.

    2 or 3-0 for me, can see us really putting a performance in and Carew being uplayable and bagging a brace. Can't see West Ham posing much of a threat to be honest.

    Will be interesting to see how up-to-date the app is kept and how quickly it is updated regarding news and matches. We seem to have turned a welcome corner with regards to marketing now.

    A few nice wallpapers and videos I think, only just downloaded it so having a play now, it seems a very good app

    Just downloaded the new Villa app for my iPhone and I must say I'm very impressed, just a scaled down version of the OS. Anybody else downloaded it yet? Small fee of £2.99, but well worth it IMO.

    If Sven comes in in the next week I'm sure there will be a flurry of activity similar to when he was at City and brought in the likes of Elano and Zabaleta pretty quickly. At least with a new manager we may actually start shopping abroad again which imo will be a nice change.

    Nothing on SSN. They wouldn't stop taking bets yet surely, 2 days after MON walks out, there's no way the deal could be struck that quickly.

    In all honesty I would be quite happy with any of Jol, Sven, or Klinsmann, but my ideal choice would be Jol. But there are definate positives to be had from Klinsmann and Sven. I just hope Randy makes the right decision.

    I would like Jol, Sven wouldn't be the end of the world, nor would Klinsmann, but I have a feeling that Randy might get this one wrong and appoint somebody along the lines of Curbs

    Can't see that deal happening unfortunately, although it would be a deal we would all welcome. Can't see them chucking that much money plus Ireland at us, maybe closer to 18m and Ireland, or even less.

    ITK!! We all love ITK, but not when it states we are willing to smash our transfer record on Carlton 'Carthorse' Cole, he's come on a lot since his loan days with us, but not 16m pounds worth!
