  1. Bit behind the curve on Ozark, I’ve just finished S2. Struggled at the start, after a superb 1st season, I thought it dropped off a bit and found it slow going. Them last 3/4 episodes were superb though and I’m right looking forward to S3.
  2. Watched 21 Bridges on Amazon Prime last night. Produced by the Russo Bros and starring Chadwick Boseman. It’s a decent action flick and there’s some good performances from Boseman, Sienna Miller, JK Simmons and Stephan James. I think it tries to be something heavier without quite making it, but it’s just over 90mins long and decent, easy viewing. 7/10 WB
  3. Population density as in the number of people in a given area, and population density as in a lot of our population is dense (thick as mince)
  4. As I read on Twitter earlier, both population density and population density are a problem for us.
  5. They do love a bit of Finger Lickin’ Goodness.
  6. The doctor who did the testing is pretty convinced. Used 2 separate testing techniques apparently to ensure there was ‘no error’ Approx 2 mins in: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/w172x2w6blyc09n This is on top of the US backdating their first ‘known death’ to Feb 6th (died at home, so who knows what kind of transmission could have been taking place by then?) and the first ‘known case’ in China being November 17th (and not even in Wuhan). They still think there could be earlier cases too. https://www.livescience.com/first-case-coronavirus-found.html
  7. Weird new virus symptom in Russia.....it appears to be making doctors fall out of windows https://edition.cnn.com/2020/05/04/europe/russia-medical-workers-windows-intl/index.html
  8. Great series overall, but the finale directed by him was the best episode by far. A brilliant hour of TV.

  10. I don’t know much about him, other than my Mrs does his diet thing and the food is decent. He’s raised a few quid for charity during the lockdown so fair play to him. I haven’t donated any cash, but after his Mrs doing that session this morning, I might see if the local sperm bank is open.
  11. I’ve been warned before, I’m not risking the wrath of @limpid again!
  12. I highly recommend Joe Wicks’ ‘P.E With Jo’ this week. I say this because he’s hurt his hand and his ex-glamour model wife is standing in for him.
  13. The ending is insanely good, it’s probably one of my favourite endings to a film.
  14. Peeling potatoes provides an irritation to satisfaction ratio of 80:20
  15. I liked Hello Ladies too, it was decent. Sick Of It with Pilkington wasn’t bad either. Neither were amazing, but both were watchable. I’m in a minority with Gervais in that I think his more recent work is his best. I loved The Office, Extras and life’s Too Short, but Derek and Afterlife are on another level for me. Also, Humanity is one of my favourite stand up shows ever, I thought it was brilliant from start to finish and easily his best stand-up by a country mile. His films are ok, nowhere near his TV shows though.
  16. Can’t recommend this highly enough. I’ve read chapters 1-4 over the past few days and it’s absolutely awesome.
  17. This is a pretty much perfect way to describe it. I loved it first time around and I’m looking forward to watching it again with a bit of a buzz on. It’s a fantastic film.
  18. I am married, and although she owns a pair, I don’t think I’ve had the pleasure of her in them since about 2009!
