  1. I'm not that keen on either of them but both are sitting on contracts that expire next summer so might be smart signings when it comes to value for money.
  2. Cantwell I can do without but I think he only has 1 year left on his contract so there might be a deal to be had, and he won't be on huge wages.
  3. Everyone is rightfully angry about Russian/Soviet doping and cheating but the amount that the US has gotten away with over the years is absurd.

    Douglas Luiz

Got MOTM on Sofascore with 8.1 against Egypt. Did not watch the game so no idea if he deserved it but surely encouraging.
  6. Usain Bolt vs Asafa Powell flashbacks
  7. Bristol are creating quite a lot in the 2nd half.
  8. 10.61 in the women's 100m . Only the steroid infused Flo-Jo has ran faster.
  9. Yeah, would have been sad for everyone involved if it's been decided via a protest. Pretty sure the jury would have removed that result but someone would have missed out on the euphoria of the moment.
  10. Gold & silver for Sweden in the discus Ståhl with the expected gold but fantastic performance from Simon Pettersson to get the silver.
  11. Happily take Zakaria or Florian Neuhaus as well.
  12. Good player, hopefully this was a one off
  13. Pretty amazing from the Jamaican long jumper Tajay Gayle who injured his knee in the first jump, then had a completely failed attempt in the second jump where he injured himself even more. Looked like he was going to have to retire from the competition but somehow he managed to get his leg bandaged up enough to the able to do a third jump even thou he could hardly walk and managed to do 8.14 to qualify for the final. No idea if he'll be able to take part in the final but heart of a lion on that guy who was one the favorites ahead of the qualifications.
  14. Yup, he'd be a perfect signing if Grealish moves, be great if he stays too of course. Wanted us to sign him all year, been really impressed with him at Sampdoria.
  15. IF Grealish is indeed sold I'd be OK with a transition/rebuild season where we bring in players with a long term plan rather than "win now" players. We are never going to be able to replace Grealish with any player we can attract, but we can build a team with the money that makes us better than we currently are if we give it time and are smart. Even thou there are no doubt players in the PL that could improve us or help us I'd generally like us to look abroad for signings. Value in money is night and day but of course it means more job for the coaches to help these player integrate, settle and learn the league. It is a marathon not a sprint. Obviously I'd rather Grealish stayed and we built that team around him.
  16. And just like Pirates it is based on a Disney ride
  17. The acting gets a bit crap since every scene is against a green-screen. Other than that it was an OK-ish matinee adventure flick. Not one of Disney's finest but does a job. Edit: I did lose interest towards the end if I'm honest

    New kits 21/22

    More black & gold/ gold & black.
  19. Lot of people are looking at emulating Leicester and their success, but selling their top players for big money is very much part of their modus operandi. It's part of the life for smaller economy clubs sadly. Losing Grealish would suck so much, but it also can not be that surprising that the top clubs come looking when we have such a player.
  20. The US basketball team usually stays in some luxury accommodation. Partly because they are so tall and big of course. Ronaldinho stayed at the Olympic village, partly because he wanted to boink as many female athletes as possible. Think Lindsey Vonn stayed in a house of her own at her latest Olympic while the rest of the US alpine team lived in the village.
