His dip in form has come about when he's been pushed further back because Kamara is out. When he's playing in that 8 role, he's been absolute class for us. That's his position and hopefully he will be back in it ASAP. Dougie is a quality player and we'd be daft to even entertain any offers for him. A few 'poor' games doesn't change that, every player has ups and downs during a season, but I think he's vital to us, especially if we harbour ambitions of regular top 4 finishes and European footy.

Watched 7&8 tonight, so that's me done. I've loved it. I can't wait for the 2nd series. I'll probably rewatch this series just before it drops.

I think it's time, as Villa fans, we woke up to the fact we need to stop shitting the bed anytime we have something good going. Our owners are brilliant. They are clever, shrewd and above all have massive ambition. I honestly believe they won't rest until we have won something major. Unai was always going to be linked to other jobs. What he's done here is frankly, astonishing. But he's not done it alone, the players have brought into his ideas and way of playing, us fans have been fully behind him and he's got the full backing of our owners. It's a delicious recipe. The media need to realise their darling big 6 no longer exist and get their heads around the fact that as a club and fans, we deserve to have a top manager, world class players and trophies in the cabinet. I think Luca is a very underrated part of this squad. I've been very impressed with him this season.
