Yeah they are, but with a release clause do we have much say in how they're staggered or are we obliged to accept whatever is offered? I'm sure they cant be ridiculous with the offer though.
I don't mind him wanting to leave, it's not like he didn't leave another club (a club that he supports) to join us. But the way he's gone about it just stinks. He's put his foot right in it.
He should be released for his performances and no other reason, would you want Suarez to be released if he played for us? I'm not condoning racism by the way, just think a player should be judged by his playing ability alone.
He's a City boy, he's just talking casually to someone about wanting to go back to 'his' club someday. Nothing wrong with that IMO.
Why mention it when you've only just swapped to a club that actually wants you to play for them and not one that's going to just let you rot on the bench because you're not good enough?
