Magnificent session from England. It’s a real shame we’re 2-0 down here, should be 1-1 at the worst. Has the makings of a classic series if we win from here.

Another quarter final failure. Lost it in both the powerplays. In truth, we were never really in it. They barely had to play a shot from between the 10th and last over.

12 drops, 1 missed stumping, 2 wickets off no balls, 100+ in extras over 4.5 innings. Beating ourselves.

Great morning, bowled really well. Shame about the Bairstow drop, there really is no justification for him to be keeping wicket in the next test.

Played Sunday vs Durham in T20. I think he'll be in the England squad soon enough but this Ashes series is too soon.

Agree. A DOF mode would be good too, hire/fire the manager & sign the players then sim the games/watch from stands if you want. I sorta end up doing that (the Zealand skin with simulate game on is great for this) but the assistant managers aren't great.

They’re the only team in cricket that would’ve done that. Really thought Cummins was better than that. Smith & Warner been in his ear too long it seems.

I wouldn't have had too many complaints had it been given out to be honest. Did feel like a bit of a make up call after the Root dismissal in the first innings.

Well at least you can say three of the four wickets were absolute beauties instead of the trash in the first innings. I hope we never play Australia at Lord’s ever again.

Couldn’t fit it in it. Had been in the tent for three hours sweating my bollocks off. Woodsies to Park is a good 40 minute walk too.

The Hives Honourable mentions: Deadletter, The Big Moon, Chvrches, Warpaint Didn’t care much for AM, the first 20 minutes of Lana Del Rey was mind numbing, and I thought Elton John was a little bit dry (although I did leave with 30 mins left to beat the traffic).

Yep, just been out & it's got very warm & very humid. If we can stay on England should be huge favourites from here.

Still raining and has been heavily since I got up at 7. Don't think they'll be out before 1 even if it stops now.

Why do we need rain? If it rains the chances of a win narrows. If we continue batting til about 5 or 6 we'll have a 300-350 lead & at that point I assume we stick them in to bat.

Think it's about £120 in the Hollies from memory. I was offered a ticket but it's a little rich for me. Going to Pears vs Bears later in Worcester instead, only £25.

Wholesale price back on the rise. Electric up to 21p/kWh (was 15p-ish last week). Gas above 5p for the first time in ages (was around 3.5p-ish for a good while). Hopefully nothing to be worried about.

Yeah it's sound. Only time I struggled all year was during the Brighton game but I imagine it was due to the constant checking of scores.
