The past decade or so has been a difficult watch for us Villans. Whilst the love has never wavered it has, outwith the occasional individual moment, felt like a duty to support Villa rather than a source of pleasure. Despite the position we shouldn't have been in, the promotion charge from the Championship under Deano, Grealish, Mings etc..was the best experience in years after PL disappointment. Felt like we had our club back again Tricky couple of years back in the PL and we'd be forgiven for thinking the worst again this year as the Gerrard experiment totally failed... In swaggers Unai Emery and everything changes in an instant. The atmosphere, the style, the attitude.. it all improves and keeps improving culminating in a bloody European adventure. Couldn't give two shits it's the 3rd tier of European football...it's a taste of things to come!! UTV
