Think Emery will learn alot from this & he will put it right. I thought he would go stronger if been honest, having your 5th & 6th choice centre back in your back 4 away from home in Europe it was going to be a tough ask to get anything from the game. 3 big chances at the end also so atleast snatch a point but that's football we learn & move on to Sunday at Chelsea, still fully expected us to come through the ground in Europe, win all our home games & 1 away win should be enough to top the group -

Exactly this although Moreno spends more time in oppositions half than our own I like Pau & I just think he adjusting to everything about the best league in the world & the most competitive, if you watched him for Villarreal apart from his ridiculous range of passing he would pinch alot of balls of strikes specially when the ball was passed into them & that what caught him out yesterday he tried to pinch it & he nearly did. He will adjust & Emery will help him, think by Christmas we will all be drooling over how good he has become once he has adjusted.

Can't wait to see Duran & Bertie start in the same team this season be like going to a circus, pretty sure be in Europe & not in the Premier league as people's hearts may stop functioning

G Owen matchday podcast on YouTube shows Bailey pulling off an amazing pass to Watkins with the outside of his left foot wasn't there yesterday but the clips of him in the highlights shows he made a difference when he came on yesterday, I know he splits opinion on these boards or even the entire Villa fan base. I like him, he has bad games he has good games, his record last season was I think 6 goals & 6 assists, he already has 4 goals this season not sure about assists, he has competition now so maybe this might bring out some more consistency in his game. Don't think the money we paid for him was wasted as I think that's about par on the player we got, to get finished article players your talking £60/70 million, we paid £50 million on Diaby who looks a player already & you could say £50 million barging, look at Sancho & Anthony of Man utd, was it £170 million combined for both & we paid £80 million combined for Bailey & Diaby, I know which 2 I'd have & happy there at our club, I will say pretty sure Bailey will beat his 12 goal contributions from last season if he stays fit.

Was saying people were judging him from his time at Spurs .... I wouldn't I'd be judging him on his time at Barcelona, he will be more than decent for us.

Barcelona signed him for a reason, because the way they play & being a good defender, I'm taking into account his over 160 appearances for Barcelona not his 12 month loan spell at spurs (basket case of a club last season) don't care what he is on & we're a centre back being injured for us to be in abit of a crises specially if we're playing 3 at the back, I fully expect him to keep his place in a back 3 once he gets his chance, either way I see this as exceptional cover for what we have.
