    100% right, presumably a lot of these players had relegation clauses in their contracts, only saving grace from the selling club which gives them more leverage.

    Think clubs aren’t willing to sell on the cheap no matter their position and would rather hold out for top money to ease financial strain more so than a quick sale.

    Is it just me (probably is) but it’s been pretty quiet on the whole transfer front, even rumour wise. COVID has really taken affect and not the buyers market some thought it might have been.

    Sarr is being priced out of a move, Watford won’t want to take a loss. wonder if he had a relegation clause in his contract. Won’t be moving this window.

    If McGinn plays again this week for Scotland, would it be wise to start him again for Leicester? 5 games in less than 2 weeks? move trez to left, bring jack alongside Barkley and Traore on the right?

    True, especially if him falling out with the club is correct, are they going to want to have an unhappy player on their books, potentially affecting squad morale. if he does go but not to West Ham, palace might end up doing a late deal I reckon, not sure if they’re completely out of the running yet.

    The only way I can see this working is. 1. Benrahma is a starter, trez (wrongly IMO with current form) gets put down the pecking order. 2. Traore has been bought in as CF cover but can also play out wide. (If this was the case, Davis would be loaned out when Wes returns) I’m probably chatting bull but can anyone else see the logic in the above?
