    We have more than enough in the squad to handle those fixtures, every manager wants their targets in early. We've got Wes back and Sanson plus the youth lads that can step up. The covid outbreak plus Jack getting injured crippled us last season, I truly believe we will be flying this season. We need CB cover, GK cover. Everything else is a bonus now.

    Problem with an attack of Jack, Emi and ESR is lack pace, unless ESR and EMI are quicker that I think, or, would we rely on Cash and Targett for that ?

    I can't see Tammy joining us, but if he does, I'd play Watkins just behind him as part of a front four, his hold up and link up play could be poetry with Tammy up top and Jack and Emi either side

    Honestly, I thought he was gone last summer, so I wouldn't be at all surprised if he did go this time round. On the flip though, I think he'll give us this season, see if we get into Europe, if we do he'll stay if we don't he'll be off. The media can do one, they moaned about the big six breaking away, yet all they do is constantly link the league's best players to them

    Let's be honest, the main reason he won't sign for us is because he's not Argentinian although agent Emi might still tap him up

    There's been many instances throughout where clubs have bid more than once and the player has signed a new deal. It's not about the recruitment team being stupid or savvy, they could well spend a lot of time and get the deal done or the could well spend a lot of time and nothing materialising. These things happen

    I understand the interest may well be real, but, most of the reports of seen also state they are confident he will sign a new deal, so, why are we wasting our time if that is the case? I'd love him here, two close friends are arsenal fans and rave about him constantly.

    Given we only have one player currently over 30 in the squad, in would kind of make sense to get another more experienced head in. Not seen much of Romeu since he's been at Southampton, remember him being decent at Chelsea for s short while
