I realise he's just scored a prem hat trick so this sounds a bit odd, but in order to do that he really needs to start scoring braces in games. Over the last few seasons when he's scored its only been 1 even if we've mauled a side. The Kanes, Salahs and Haalands of this world are regularly bagging 2 goals in games and the odd hat trick which really allows you to get to the juicy numbers.

If we are in and around CL spots at Christmas, the hype will go into overdrive don't you worry. Part of it is down to the fact that Emery took over mid season last year. People just haven't cottoned on to how good his record has been. If you stretch his record over a season (had he started in August last year) and we'd have finished 3rd, people would be all over us.

The most cultured player I've seen at Villa in a long while. He's like a CB version of Pirlo. A sort of languid elegance, insane range of passing, almost nonchalance on the ball. Very quickly becoming my favorite player. He will have days where he will be directly responsible for a goal, but I'm here for the classy, classy ride.
