Fair enough I don't think they have improved as I believe results would also have improved, you feel individuals have improved but have also been unable to back it up as results haven'y improved. Interesting topic indeed.

This kind of run? it started last August and hasn't stopped! Not sure where you are coming from or just want to be argumentative, Grealish has been immense this season absolutely kept us out of the bottom three by himself if he wasn't around we would probably have the same points as Norwich. once you pass Christmas the "they need time to gel" gets a little tedious tbh

How do you quantify improvement (individually)? what have they done to show improvement (to you)? As a team we haven't improved over the season unless you can show me otherwise? Individuals collectively performing well will improve teams, you develop (coach) them and things (results) tend to get better.

Okaay! Grealish has been with us since he was about 6 years old I believe so not quite a summer signing, Mings was with us last season on loan as was Hause! Targett has become more consistent, and I do think Konsa will develop in time , but Luiz? No not for me. Sorry just saw the Wesley bit huge lols to use my teenage daughters terminology!!

Which is realistic, should we stay up. But it would be nice to find some gems we can sell on at a big profit as long term it's probably the only way we can compete.

Seriously though Reina, Drinky, Baston are either loans or short term contracts none deserve to stay, I'd give Davis a new deal. Elmo, Taylor, Lansbury, & Jota should all go just not what we need. So you're probably right 10 new players, but I think 6 need to be decent quality starters.

Sorry mate love a good conspiracy theory but I just think he's not as good as he's made out to be, have a feeling you will never see him in a Man City shirt ever, will end up somewhere like Celta Vigo or Real Betis.

Should we stay up I feel we still need some quantity, just based on the team that started Saturday we need to have 6 of that starting line up as squad players not starting! We need a much better summer recruitment.

I think he flatters to deceive, if Pep truly rated him or thought he was 'one for the future' he'd still be a Man City player.

We might not get relegated if teams are shitter than us! It is pretty damning stats though! Despite the absolute lack of quality we signed last summer you can't look at a single player and say they have been coached into a better player.

No one would come in for our summer signings because they are championship level signings simple as, we could offer PL football and recruited poorly last summer. We'd be mad to spend big a again if we got relegated.

I really can see your point, as a kid I would start watching TV from about 10am on FA cup day it was fantastic. Leicester proved it can be done though we have to keep the faith, with FFP it's even more prevalent we need the right staff recruiting and developing players and if we need to sell JG to fund recruitment so be it, but to get the TV money we desperately need to stay in the PL!

Winning the cup and getting relegated would be disastrous! Getting relegated itself would set us back 2 years throw in European football **** me it's laughable!

I think once the owners get the right manager/head coach, back room staff and DOF the climb up the table will happen no one gets things right from the off. Trips to old boys have no appeal whatsoever for me I'm afraid.
