  1. Hope we don't drop a boob on this one, the odds are stacked in our favour...
  2. Home shirt will be tomorrow now, I've not seen anything regarding the pattern though so I'll use the same as the away strip untill I do.
  3. I don't remember comparing him to Gattuso, I said he was 'one hell of a player' which is my opinion, and I'm no way embarrassed about it thank you very much. If you don't like reading peoples opinions I'd suggest not logging on to the internet.
  4. I've no love for Leeds, and Phillips seems like a right ninnyhammer, but he is one hell of a player who has everything we are looking for in a defensive midfielder and youth on his side.
  5. Looking like another... I feel bad for @Delphinho123, I hope we sign someone today, anyone will do, new tea lady maybe?
  6. I like it, I think I might prefer what the lads in the background are wearing, but I'd need a closer look...
  7. He's 25... https://www.transfermarkt.com/jack-stephens/profil/spieler/163744 Not convinced this is a genuine link myself.
  8. He may not be their first choice but he did make 29 appearances for them in total last season, 19 starts in the Premier League, most of them the second half of the season under their new manager. If he's the 4th/5th best they've got you'd have to question their management for playing him so much! FWIW I have no idea if he's any good, never seen him play.
  9. I'm not saying you are right or wrong I just think it's interesting to hear who people think we should have gone for instead. Targett is the only left back I've really seen us linked with. I like the look of Tierney, but the money Celtic would be wanting for a player that has only ever played in the SPL would be a massive risk. I know people will use McGinn as an argument but he's the exception not the rule when comes to players coming down from Scotland, also he was not a financial risk, the fee we paid was so small, we'd of likely got back most of it even if he flopped. I kind of feel like Targett is the best we could reasonably expect to get, within the parameters we've set ourselves, there's always the argument we could pick up some one cheaper abroad, but we need players to hit the ground running, with his Premier League experience I'd expect Targett to be able to do that. I know we are a big club, have lots of money, and all that jazz but a lot of players will want to see us survive in the Premier League before we'd become an attractive proposition to them, I think we are going to struggle to attract much bigger names until then.
  10. Out of interest, who would have been your preferred choice and who else would be on your list before Targett?
  11. Happy with this bit of business, good player and good potential in a position we desperately needed to strengthen. Looking forward to seeing what Dean Smith and his team can do with him!
  12. Are they though? One is at Blues and the other is at Blackpool, they are both light years below our level and even further from the level we aim to be at. I don't think we'll be bidding to bring either of them back any time soon...
  13. Your wish is Photoshop Genies command...
  14. I've read he wants a two year deal and his preference is to stay in London. I don't think he fits the way we play and the wages would be astronomical. Not for me but I can see why some like him.
  15. Both true, although they only managed 1 shot on target in the whole game, we had 11 and hit the woodwork, so they weren't exactly robbed of 3 points. Were it not for their keeper having an inspired day they would of been battered. I get being salty about decisions not going your way, but the way their manager reacted it felt more like he was deflecting from a poor performance in a pivotal game.
  16. Now that... ...is over, what happens next? Do we have to wait until next Wednesday?
