Whilst I will agree that the 2nd was his fault, if Martinez was in goal we wouldn't have conceded not due to particularly brilliant keeping but because he wouldn't have been on his line and taking a step back like steer was.

He's average at tackles or interceptions. But he isn't brilliant. But if you look at all the top defensive midfielders they are right at the top on terms of loose balls collected. It's so important, if they don't get it someone else has to and often times that's the opponent. You can make 15-20 ball recoveries a game. A top ball winning DM will make 2 tackles or interceptions over Luiz.

His defensive strength isn't tackles or interceptions. Its him just being there to collect loose balls that would normally result in 50/50s that lead to goals.

We have lived through the most stable period in earth's history. But we as a species are far better adapted to surviving temperature change. The issue is none of our contemporary species are. And yes those dips and troughs occurred without human interaction but eventually we will reach a point where we can terraform the planet. But the change in temperature in recent years has occurred far more rapidly than any of those changes perhaps save for the great dying which isn't really a bar you want to compare to.

Have you heard of Wesley Moraes, he seemed to do some ligament damage and was put for 15 months. ACLs are often 9 month injuries if he did another knee ligament the recovery time may be shorter

I know you are trolling but this graph is dumb as hell. If you look at all those major dips and troughs you are talking about mass extinction events in every major rise and every major fall. Just because we are currently in an ice age doesn't mean we want every region to be tropical or desertified. If the temperature increases or decreases by more than 10 degrees Celsius every million years (5 degrees in a shorter period) results in mass extinction. Just to be clear the single worst mass extinction event as well is caused by climate change as well. 96% of ocean life died.

The reason why people believe that bs is they don't have reasoning skills and the Devils advocate presents the 2 arguments as equal and valid. There is a difference between using an alternative hypothesis in research to further develop the information you have. But once you have it in the mainstream. Having 1 climate scientist vs 1 denier presents the issue as a 50/50 belief. When in reality 99.9999% of scientists believe climate change is a serious issue. The Devils advocacy is a joke and should never be used as the basis for a discussion surrounding something that is completely factual. If it's subjective sure. But not if it's fact.

Not to go against you but a large portion of our u-23 players are u-18s. Like iroegbunam or even carney chukwuemeka. Which might also contribute to the confusion.

I had heard a while ago he is more highly rated/better than the others at the same age. I would say though both Jacob and Aaron were so prolific at u-23s that it will be a hard bar to reach.

It probably isn't that bad. A boot is just a precaution. But it means he can put weight on it which rules out any serious ligament or bone damage. Probably just a minor sprain or something.
