    I think he was sent off not just for that foul but for an accumulation of fouls. Was quite obvious Howe put him in the team to kick Grealish all day and quite frankly he got what he deserved.

    McGinn would have been perfect for that game. I don't think we can overstate how big a loss he's been. Need him back asap. He's good enough to play with one ankle.

    The same can be said of Twitter. I just had a look at some of the replies to Percy's tweet and it just reminded how much I hate people.

    We've spent all day saying "we're desperately short up front" and "it's dangerous relying on Samatta and Davis staying fit". Now it looks like we're signing what is quite obviously a back up striker and we're still moaning?

    We weren't going bust under Lerner though. He'd lost interest but we were still functioning as a club. Xia took us to within days of ceasing to exist. Then NSWE came in and not only saved us, but have invested heavily into the club and all signs say they will do for the long haul. They have literally not put a foot wrong since they got here. So the original post was spot on, we should be bloody grateful to them. You can't dismiss them because of what may or may not happen in the future.

    I've been thinking the same thing all day. It's blindingly obvious we aren't splashing the cash because of FFP. I still have a feeling we'll see a striker arrive on loan.

    I watched for about 10 minutes earlier. It was excruciating. Then they cut to Guardiola's press conference. The interviewer addressed him by saying "Happy deadline day". I threw up in my mouth and turned it off.

    Yeah, he's lanky, slow and a poor finisher. Really don't rate him at all.

    Bowen has been amazing in the Championship but I just have a feeling he won't cut it in the Prem.

    Klinsmann has only been there for the last 7 league games, winning 3 of them. In contrast, they won 3 in the first 12 games under Covic and were all over the place and looked likely to be going down. They look a comfortable mid table team now. Selke being poor has nothing to do with Klinsmann, he's just not a very good player.

    Plus he gets to play for and be coached by Jurgen Klinsmann. That must have played a part in his decision. I'd be surprised if he doesn't improve him as a player.

    So true. Same reason Coventry and Leicester try to invent some sort of rivalry with us.

    I bloody hate how the scummy fans of our so called rivals convince themselves that they're amazing fans and all we do is sing VILLA VILLA VILLA. Not one of their grounds gets close to our atmosphere.
