  1. The club will make a statement. No doubt about it. Probably tonight I'd imagine.
  2. There will be a statement at some point either admitting guilt or explaining what happened. The police are involved so there will be an official statement in time.
  3. No, I absolutely think he should be criticised for that. It's idiotic, irresponsible and dangerous, if that is what he's done. But do we know that's what he was doing for sure? All I'm saying is let's wait and see what is said because before an official statement is made everything is just hearsay and some of the stuff out there is potentially slanderous if its proven to not be true. That is all I'm saying. It doesn't look good, but I will wait until the full story comes out.
  4. Because nothing official has been said yet, that's why. There may be an explanation for all of those things that makes sense. There's a lot of hearsay and gossip going around but until we hear officially what has happened, then I don't think it's fair to criticise. If it turns out that it is the worst case scenario, by all means he should be criticised, fined, banned etc, captain or not. But not until then.
  5. Or would could just wait until all the facts come out instead of assuming what has happened.
  6. This is why we shouldn't be so quick to criticise him just yet. Everyone, everywhere should be innocent until proven guilty. The fact is we don't yet know all the facts.
  7. Maybe not. It may be that his car was being stolen and there is an investigation ongoing and the club may be waiting until evidence is collected before saying anything. Clutching at straws but its possible.
  8. Would make sense. Fingers crossed it was someone trying to steal his car or something and that's why he rushed out to see it.
  9. Same. The only thing I miss about football is playing it. I can honestly say I haven't missed watching football in the slightest. Things like this won't exactly help me want it back any time soon. More important things.
  10. If this is as bad as we're fearing I guess it's a reminder that NOBODY is bigger than our club. However, I'm still reserving judgement until facts are proven.
  11. Why has the bloke next to him got the other flip flop under his arm?
  12. If this is true, it's just another example of why footballers get paid too much money. They're too thick to know how to handle it. Best thing that can happen is that Sky/Premier League go bust and we start again on normal wages. I've said it for years.
  13. Yeah, I was in Asda Tamworth yesterday and they were literally handing free flowers to everyone who was leaving the shop. The man pretty much chucked them at me.
  14. Great player with a beautiful left foot. Always liked him as he seemed so normal and shy and didn't even like celebrating goals. Such a shame. Absolutely shocking.
  15. Great idea and should be fun to watch. Just a shame FIFA 20 is a horrifically bad game.
  16. Nice little stat I came across. He's keeping up with players playing for Barcelona, Man City and Lazio whilst playing for us.
  17. There will be WAY more people already infected than reported. Every single death will get recorded but I bet less than 50% of cases get reported. The mortality rate is going to be impossible to accurately calculate, but whatever it is recorded as, it should be much lower in reality.
  18. I thought the same thing. VAR has totally voided this season anyway so this is a perfect excuse to bin it off and get VAR working for whenever next season starts.
  19. I don't think there's a cat in hell's chance that next season will start on time. I would think it is in serious danger of not taking place.
  20. This season can absolutely be written off. I think the focus needs to be on next season because I can see that not going ahead as it stands.
  21. Nope, not even close. The worst of the outbreak is expected over the summer. Absolutely no way that fixtures can continue. I honestly don't think this will be over in time for next season. I wouldn't be surprised if we don't see any more football until next January.
  22. The very fact that UEFA and the Premier League/FA are trying to save their competitions really does just show what absolute abhorrent scumbags they are. Only one thing matters to them. The sooner the entire football world goes bust and has to start again from scratch, the better.
  23. That's not an option that should even be considered as far as I'm concerned. Football is for the fans. The very image of players playing in an empty stadium kind of sums up what football has become in recent years.
  24. It will be an absolute disgrace if any games go ahead. Once again, the Premier League and FA making an absolute laughing stock of themselves. Scumbags.
