I think Newcastle are getting a good deal if he goes there for 12m. He’s already had 6 months there so they know exactly what they are getting. I would have hoped to get closer to 20m but what can we do? Frees up some space in the squad and the wage bill.

There is no doubt SG will be devastated to lose him. He always said Beale was the hand on ‘coach’ and that he’s need ri work in football for 20years to have as much experience as him. We have to recruit well here!

Talk that West Ham are wanting to get rid of Soucek after a dust up with Moyes. He not the most stylish of players but he’s an effective 6 in the right system and he’s add a bit of height and metal to our midfield options.

I can see DS coming back for a few of our players on loan next season. El Ghazi and maybe Davis. Hourihane is out of contract now too I think.

If you believe the press this is Kalvin Phillips. I think we’d have to break the bank to get him now that Leeds have stayed up but SG and Co have pulled off unexpected transfers before.

We are at an odd stage in the development of the Gerard squad. If there are player out there that will improve us I think we will go get them but we have least one be good player in every position now. GK: Martinez LB: Digne RB: Cash LCB: Mings RCB: Chambers/ Konsa DM: Bouba LCM: McGinn RCM: Ramsey LW: Couthino RW: Buendia ST: Watkins We might not necessarily play with this system but it’s just to show the quality of our first 11. I think we’re going to have to get top players to replace any of those 11 but I think SG will spring more Phil/ Bouba type signings.

Because he’s under 24 we will still have to pay a fee for the player despite him being out of contract. It will either be agreed between the clubs or refereed to a committee and they will come up with the amount to be paid! So while Bouba is out of contract this isn’t a free transfer!

Until they start giving out real fines and point deductions this will continue. That’s Villa, Palace and Sheffield United players/ manager that have been assaulted in the last week!

While I do agree with much of what he says Roy Keane is a clown. A miserable Jamie Redknapp with a better playing career. But as you can see from his managerial career he doesn’t have much to back it up. Same goes for Neville and Carragher.

So City have won the league because of VAR! Will this be brought up ever time like the Sheffield United ghost goal?

One goal came after a clear Villa throw in was given to City. For the whole game the ref couldn’t give them decisions quickly enough.

We collapsed but City knew from the start that they were playing with 12 men. How City lay on the ground for more than 2 mins of added time and the ref added 30 seconds on!

Ref is 100% on the take here. He’s been disgraceful since minute 1!

He’s done everything he can for them this half. I think if that foul was on Jesus in the other box it’s a pen!

The shape in the first half is perfect. Couthino and Buendia are putting in a shift. We need to keep KDB quiet and we will win this one. I feel a shocking VAR decision coming.
