    I wouldn't say it was a good appointment at the time. When O'Neill arrived I was excited and I believed he could improve us. When Houllier arrived I just thought what an average appointment. The league table doesn't lie - Houllier is clueless.

    I mentioned what Houllier's post match interview would be and there were no surprises! Our heads dropped apparently when the 1st goal went in. Good one, now I though the manager was meant to create a belief in players and never say die attitude. All he has done is give us a normally lose mentality!

    Just heard the Houllier interview and as predicted before the match he came out with the excuse that the players heads dropped when we conceded the first goal!!!!! There was me thinking it was the managers job to ensure players have a never say die attitude! Still ZERO points gained from going behind under the french fool!

    Mcallister has achieved nothing as a coach. A joke appointment just because he is mates with Houllier. We now have the joint worst goal difference in the league. Blackpool have managed to get more points than us. Spot the superior manager.

    Houllier just has to go. The Board are partly to blame for this as they've been dithering for weeks. Houllier should have been sacked after the Liverpool fiasco. Give him some credit we've got Curtis Davies, Richard Dunne, Stephen Ireland and John Carew to bring on. Oh sorry, we haven't! Houllier out! Absolute embarrassing shambles.

    Pleased Hogg isn't in the team. I still think Dunne, Ireland and Carew should be on the bench. You can't convince me Hogg, Clark and Herd offer more!

    I've found an extract from Houllier's post match press conference that he's already prepared: "My players heads went down when City scored the first goal" "I was not pleased with the result but I can't fault the effort" FFS! If I see Hogg in that starting line up (probably against De Jong, Barry and Toure!!!!!) then I'm going to vomit!

    Delph was mediorce today but I think, given his time out, we can let him off. Might have been kinder for Houllier to play him with someone other than Hogg! Then again Houllier seems to be keen on these tactical blunders.

    Milner is not the reason why the 4th best defence in the country has turned into the 5th worse one! (this is 5th worse before away matches at Man City and Chelsea).

    This season we have the 6th worst attack and the 5th worst defence in the premier league! Last season we had the 8th best attack and the 4th best defence in the premier league! Draw your own conclusions as to what has changed from last season!!!!!

    Number of points gained from a losing position for Aston Villa this season: 0 ZERO FFS! That tells me very little team spirit! We're going to get torn to shreds in our next two matches! Collins vs Tevez!!!
