Can you provide some facts for us having virtually zero chance of getting promoted under Bruce next season.

If we drew every game 2-2, but played beautiful football, we would still probably get relegated. If we won every game 1-0, playing ugly, we would win the league. How is this even a debate. If you want to watch pretty football, play FIFA 17.

When he was getting absolutely slated by a fair few back at the beginning of the season, I did say that I stake my whole reputation (worth all of two cents) that he would be absolutely vital to us. We need him next season, I'm not sure in what capacity he will play, but he needs to be in the squad. Its imperative. He is the only beast we have.

I think this thread just shows how shattering this is to all of us. Different players, different staff, different managers, different owners etc etc. Same old fans, some get to leave without a care in the world. Not us fans though we endure every minute, day, week, month, year and decade of it. We are the ones who buy our season ticket, or buy all the gear. We are the ones that give everything to our club. We are upset because we can't find enough people at our club to care as much as we do. Care enough so they might put in decent performances and we might enjoy the football our club plays.

@terrytini and @dont_do_it_doug. from a relative newby can I just say that I've had little or no direct interaction with either of you but I can tell you're both passionate villa fans, that doesn't mean you can't have differing views. These are really tough times, but don't give it to each other. I don't think either of you are wrong.

I just dropped in to this thread, and its just my opinion but I don't mind the word tripe or mental. However I had one of my posts called pathetic and it did get a reaction.

I am the same even though most of my employers havnt cared, but I have always got to work 10-15 minutes early so I am ready to work all prepared at my starting time.

I would agree that we perform marginally better with kodjia but I don't like the future outlook and seeing as this season is effectively over I'm not sure he should or will be our number 1 striker next season.

I'm actually really excited to hear Bacuna have a good game and show some fight. Always have liked him just not always liked his attitude. By fight I mean the way he chased all game. I certainly don't condone his behaviour. Referees, no matter how many mistakes they make, should NOT be intimidated. Also happy to accept it is an indiscretion and move on.

It's gotten that predictable. You just know who will be slating just about every player in just about every thread. Yawn. Some of us are seen as defenders but we aren't always defending the players. Just standing up for our right to an opinion. Sorry if it is different to yours......

My next Ranieri inspiration was going to be hanging the pizza menu in the back of the net.... OT but sacking him is the most ridiculous thing in my football fan life. Football will never be like it was no matter how much we wish it would.

We should throw everything at getting Ranieri in. Imagine how he could motivate this team, for example: String 4 passes together and pizza for everyone.
