Will say this much. I remember in his last game last season with Brentford before he joined us, he made several changes against a Leeds side who were in great form. Brentford were going well also. He completely nullified every thing they were good at. Good manager. I trust him. #UTV

Just my two cents, but i don't think the plan is for Jota to attack Rose. Jota will come in field and hopefully rose gets dragged out too and Guilbert can act it then.

Delighted he gets to showcase his talents where they belong on a stage of this magnitude. I've been very impressed with his fitness, conditioning and work rate out of possession in pre season. All top players work tremendously hard off the ball too. My only thing with Jack, just maybe temper the urge to drop so deep to get the ball tomorrow. He'll be full of adrenaline but emotional control and all that. -

Totally agree. Besides the apparent lack of talent we had in our last season in the premier league, we had so many big egos in that dressing room. Not the case now.

I'd much rather an opening away day at United rather than Spurs if im honest. Spurs are so well drilled and so settled. United might take a while to get going

It'll be over for them at Christmas if they are as naive as they were tonight again. It's not getting tanked by the top 3 or 4 they need to worry about, it's everybody around them rubbing their hands at the thought of playing them.

We are way stronger than Norwich. We've prepared diligently for this. They've been passive in their approach all summer and getting what they deserve. Even Sheffield United, give them their fair dues have had a right go in the market.

He shouldn't be on Liverpool games either. Commentary should always be neutral. He calls the Liverpool players by their first names at times and he's all over them. Plus, he's pretty crap anyway .

I wouldn't say he had a one off. Put him in the championship this year again and he'd probably do the same or close to it. Agree though, he'll do well to score at max 10.

The things that are very obvious this half. The press of Liverpool is like nothing Norwich have played before. They seem to be sticking to how they want to play. When they lose the ball they look very shaky. Positionally sides at this level are far greater out of possession as well as in it.

Anyone else notice you get really invested in the league your team are in ?. It's like an automatic. I had a mild interest in the premier league over the last 3 seasons, genuinely. I'm gonna sit down and watch all of liverpool-norwich tonight and actually really want to.. We ain't even out until tomorrow evening. Last week, took a glance at the championship scores.

It will be a very tough game, obviously. Pochetino is keenly aware that it was their patchy home form last season in the first few months that ultimately cost them. Head ruling heart. Spurs to win to 2 nil in a game where villa are very competitive and give a good account of themselves.
