It’ll be v interesting to see how Bruce sees McGinn fitting in. I don’t see him sitting in the defensive midfielder roll. Bruce has his favourites so I think the midfield five will be Whelan or Jedinak in the anchor role, McGinn and Hourihane in front of him, Grealish in an advanced midfield role with Adomah on the left and Elmo on the right. The video cut off abruptly for me when Bruce was talking about Snodgrass. Sounded like, while being respectful of his efforts to get into the WHU team, he was still interested. Getting him back would be a huge morale boost to the squad.

After yesterday's excitement, I'm getting withdrawal symptoms today. Bruce must have some plans for CB, surely? Earlier in the window there was talk of that Trent Sainsbury chap who went to PSV and Toni Leistner who went to QPR. All has gone quiet on the CB front since.

Look on the bright side: if they move Bryan to right back he’d ruin the career of that arsewipe Ryan Fredericks. Alternatively, Bryan could just stamp on his ankle during practice sessions and end his career that way. Either way, Fredericks gets what he deserves. Not that I hold a grudge or anything. Edit: Cant catch a break with Fredericks can we? He’s moved to West Ham.
