Garde and Fox both are being quoted tonight as saying that Garde will be in charge next season no matter what. So for all you Garde haters out there, you may as well get with the programme and support your manager!

I have accepted it's more likely than not that we're done for. I still have a part of me that still believes that we'll survive. It will be like winning a major trophy to me if we were to turn it round now though. Would so love to stick two fingers up to all those pundits who've had us written off for weeks.

I think there must be something in the pipeline for Garde to come out with this in the press conference. Hiddink is probably being coy as it will probably depend on Chelsea making signing a forward of their own first. I'm just speculating of course.

So let me get this straight, Garde is trying to bring in Loic Remy on loan possibly as early as next week and some of you think he's being stupid for trying to get this done? Oh my days

Fair play to Lescott had a terrible start to his Villa career but I think he is now putting in performances I expected he would when we signed him. Solid and decent on the ball. More of the same please Joleon.

Honestly I have seen many a post saying it remains to be seen if Garde is any good, it's too soon to judge, as well as the odd posts saying Garde is pants etc etc. I also understand that probably 95% or more managers end up getting the sack in football these days. I just really have a really good feeling about this guy. So, so many issues this guy has had to face from day one, and it seems every week one by one each problem is being addressed efficiency and appropriately with as minimum fuss as possible. Nzog, Agbonlahor, Richardson, transfer policy, French / English dressing room divide etc etc. This man has dealt with so much already and at the same time improved performances in such a short space of time. I am going to stick my neck out and say that I am of the opinion that this is going to be our most successful manager in a hell of a long time. The Lyon fans begged him not to quit ffs, how many managers can say that? Get behind him.
