If it was up to me I'd go for Nike because of the training stuff and jackets. Just saying Gymshark would be a great choice. I have nothing to do with them.

Our next manufacturer should be Gymshark. It's a billion pound brand that is really going places and the lad who started it all is a Brummie and Villa fan. I believe he is a season ticket holder. If you're not aware of Gymshark give it a look, it's exploded over the past year or so and you'd imagine it'd be beneficial for both Villa and Gymshark. We're the perfect club for them to expand their brand into the football market. Their designs are pretty simple and clean and the quality is great. The club should be working on a deal if they aren't already. Gymshark x Villa just makes sense.

I don't get it, every year people say claret shirt and blue sleeves then when we get that you see them pointing out that it's not much different to the previous year's kit, nothing wrong with a bit of a change every now and then. Both of these were nice, I would take something similar to the above with black socks.

I think that's wrong or a myth, or only applies to that exact crest. There would be nothing stopping the club from having the 80s one slightly modernised. Aston Villa Football Club on it, gold lion rampant (redo it with both and then let the fans vote on a claret lion or gold lion) and for the love of God remove that **** star. Failing that, either just return to the pre-Randy crest or have an embroidered gold lion rampant on the shirts similar to how they've been putting it on the back of the shirts on the neck. Use that for the main crest on the front.

Classic Football Shirts mate. They had the black third kit from 07/08 and the away from 08/09 but I just looked and they're gone, couple of used ones on there though. I won't be buying another shirt until the crest is changed to the circular 80s one.

Decent kit. These are my two favourites from the past ten years or so: I got ten of these off eBay for £50. Gave a couple away, have worn a few and I have one left with tags on. Really nice shirt. Have a player issue of this. A shame about the crest though.

Ah, So was this a fantasy style thread? If so then I would like Puma. Think they've made some excellent kits. It's me asking if anyone has heard anything or if there's been any news on it that I may have missed.

Sunderland Forest Fulham Brentford Cardiff Ipswich All shitter than us and have had Adidas manufacture their kits either last season or this. I have liked some of the Macron shirts but overall not great. Our current away one is awful. Right, and how much do you think Adidas are paying these teams? Not a lot, but nobody said anything about that.

Any news on this? Can't be far off seeing as shirt design should be finalised around March time and has to be manufactured, promoted, distributed and sold. Last year of Macron. Hope it's Adidas.

They are better teams, we are the bigger club. We would love to be in Swansea/Southampton/Palace's position right now though.

He has lost pace, that's what happens when you bulk up. I agree, but don't tell David Oliver You can't compare a sprinter/hurdler to a footballer. Two different body types trained for two different purposes. They are training to perform for 10/20 seconds, not 90 minutes.

That Instagram post is very odd as is deleting all of his other posts. I don't think he's good enough any more, he's too bulky and has lost much of his pace but at the same time it'd be sad to see him leave.
