if we were promoted we could add 4 or 5 players of higher quality and sell players from this squad. if they are from a successfull squad then they should be snapped up mabye not even at too much of a loss.get for exapmle 3o million back from 4 or 5 players and buy some with our new wealth from sky deals etc. push on from there

i remember guzan passing him the ball when amavi had his back turned and guzan should have kicked it down the field. put amavi under all kinds of pressure. he had a few mistakes i admit but could count them on one hand i reckon

whether he goes or not he will still be in our history books for a long time as our top scorer before someone else takes his place. thats even more annoying. the closest possible canditate for knocking him off top spot is ayew and he has a long way to go

emotions run high after a loss and people overreact and all the negativity spills out. dont think anybody actually believes we will struggle to stay up. we have a good squad and set up. we have some baggage but should still be in the top 8, probably the qualifiers

ok all these people saying his defence is atrocious please give examples. i remember 1 or 2 examples but would like to hear more if there is some. if im proved wrong so be it. just seems that this thing of him not being able to defend has gathered legs in the last few weeks

hernandez has the same kind of goalscoring record as gestede when we bought him and we paid 6 million for him. he might be rated more highly then gestede was last year but the market hasnt changed that dramatically. it is a bit of a rip off. a gamble but if it works i wont complain

i think there was 1 goal his fault. he got blamed for another because of a stupid pass from guzan and he wasnt expecting and shouldnt have recieved the ball. he made 1 or 2 mistakes which seems to be contagious in last years villa team. he hadnt played much in england there was going to be errors and hes young. definately not as bad as people make him out to be. hes not world class by any means but has the potential. the case can be made for him being played in a more advanced roll but ive no problem with him startin once he earns the position. cissokho can have just as many stupid errors in him if not more

his defending isnt as bad as people make it out to be. the welcome to liverpool video a few pages back shows some good defending. hes still young and will improve surely
