    The NSWE Board

The money they have spent is to buy the club, losses made each year and debts paid off. That figure is nowhere near 400m.

We are no where near the FFP limit, that isn't speculation that is fact. The board isn't spending for another reason, whatever it is.
  3. It’s probably age doing that, wide players are famously not of the older variety

True, but we do have four other centre backs one of which was only added in January. I look at points not places, this squad is capable of 60 points year on year. The board have funded that and if I were them and it was spend 10-20 on another player or spend it on a manager replacement I know which I would do.
  5. The link I put on here is for Leipzig only and it says wing and AM for them

    The NSWE Board

They haven't spent 100m but we have spent around 50m bringing in about 35m maybe 40m So you might say look how low the net spend is but that wage bill keep rising, wage bills KILL transfer budgets boards can hand out. NSWE may have had a plan all along to spend a truck load of cash and then scale back net spending when we are receiving decent fees for players leaving which wasn't the case when they brought the club. It wasn't that different last summer when you consider the fee we got for Jack. I wouldn't have purchased Carlos or Coutinho personally and we must have only done so based on Gerrard's wants.
  7. He is a left winger/10 https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/emil-forsberg/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/111078/plus/0?saison=&verein=23826&liga=&wettbewerb=&pos=&trainer_id=
  8. STOP SIGNING PLAYERS IN THIS AGE BRACKET!!!!

I read that and just think this is the manager not the board.
  10. If I were in charge of transfers I would try offering McGinn to Man Utd..... see if they are still interested as they are so desperate for midfield signings as we may be able to get a really good fee.
  11. Sign him just to make him wear the kit, he can be used like those static metal people during dead ball practice
  12. Apparently Newcastle bid and were told he isn't for sale.
  13. Thought it was worth mentioning that Icardi is apparently available for those of you who pine for a striker this summer.
  14. I just think the FFP angle of insurance is really interesting. I thought the policies were for compensation of the transfer fee and any wages due for a player, but only when they have to retire.
  15. There is an argument for a link up player for the midfield but I would still be looking for a DM for a double pivot, Luis will be good with Kamara playing there but when one of them gets injured or needs a rest you need another. We need to control the middle taking the pressure off the defence anyway.
  16. Yea basically! I don't think many people think he is rubbish just that the guy gets injured all the time. What's the fee/wages supposed to be?
  17. What a good question! He is insured like all these big money signings are if they retire....... If that happened we get a lump of cash but I have no idea how that affects accounts for FFP as it is just a lump sum.
  18. And you would know with all the Douglas firs around you
  19. They can have a swap deal for Klopp if they like.
  20. Yea he is fine at filling in. If you have to use him for 10 games in a row then I doubt he is the quality required for a starter at a top half team. Lower end of the Premier League is fine for him. Easily worth his wages which BTW are half the average PL salary
