    No money. They are waiting for their new DOF to be able to work for them. They have a crap load of players with a year left on their contracts. They have stalwarts like Schmeichel and Vardy who need replacing. Things aren't good at the King Power these days.

    If we were going to sign him I think we would have already. I will pull this out my arse though, if we are hopeful Luiz will sign a new deal I predict we won’t sign a midfielder until he does and if he hasn’t signed by next Saturday he starts in place of Ramsey.

    I wouldn’t buy the lad unless I was 1000% sure that it would work here when it hasn’t elsewhere. like I somehow knew what the problem was elsewhere and that couldn’t be repeated here. if we are going to replace one of our two first choice strikers then it needs to be as sure a thing as possible.

    So back on topic now. I have just seen the post on Facebook announcing McGinn is captain. I think this answers one of our pressing questions this window in how will the midfield line up. Well we knew Kamara would start every week and now we know McGinn is too. That leaves only one other space for us to shape a midfield three now.

    Even if you included the unsignable ones there aren't that many that are a clear upgrade. That isn't because I rate them so highly but because there is a dearth of top strikers in football now.
