  1. I would have brought in Owen Wijndal for 10/15m and Tuanzebe on a loan to buy if I had the cash spare today.
  2. Once these few old/players who aren't up to it are gone we will get fees for future players. Not only couldn't we get a fee for Jota we had to pay off some of his wages this year to get rid of him.
  3. I feel the same, Elmo is out of contract in 9 months and is 33, you would have to seriously not rate Freddy to get rid of him first.
  4. I think it will only get worse for teams we play when Traore is fit too with his pace and technical ability. the fact we would have such a threat should take pressure off the defence as the opposition can’t just throw people forward like last year.
  5. Yes of course but they can’t get someone to replace him
  6. Seriously can’t people let this go now the window is closed in Germany?
  7. As has been said a number of times we also have Traore and Wesley will be back in a couple of months.
  8. It will be the full 33 if he keeps playing like that!
  9. I know, I just checked after I suspected I was being gas lit! You and I were talking about it last Tuesday in the transfer window thread.
  10. Yea he has been good but lets just give it a few matches before building him up so much, it's a lot of pressure.
  11. Nah ah I wanted exactly what was put out today with Traore playing.
  12. He was VERY good tonight but lets wait for a few month matches before proclaiming him the second coming.
  13. Twas me and I got a certain amount of ridicule for it.
  14. Glad to see him put out a 4-2-3-1 now Ross is here. Definitely the right formation.

    The NSWE Board

If I were in it for the long haul I would do the Doug Ellis stand too.
  16. He worked well playing next to Luiz the performance has gone a long way for me to think that is where he will play from now on in this 4-2-3-1
  17. Other than his ability to link areas of the pitch up the biggest thing I noticed was his ball carrying. He just kept moving the ball 20 yards up the pitch.
  18. True but most revenue goes on wages....
  19. As I’m bored I just wanted to say after spending 140m last season 75m this season (plus addon), buying the club, the ground and clearing all the debts the owners have spent an enormous amount of cash. To my mind it is so much it is more than a mid table premier league club is worth. So having said that I think you can infer one of multiple motivations. 1. They are in it for the fun of it. 2. They think they can make us a champions league team and get a billion pound valuation on the club. 3. They are believers in the TV rights being streamed by the premier league themselves (much much higher tv revenues) I think three is the most likely as I believe it will end up like that in the next deal or the one after myself. looking at it as fans I feel we should be grateful for the spending so far and not expect it to continue every season as a given.
  20. I don’t think it will affect the player fees. The second window makes them more likely to be sold than if it were just one if a club has the budget and has missed out on a target like Sancho and Sarr for arguments sake. For the price to rise you would need multiple clubs willing to pay in the ball park for a player
