Watkins is apparently 28 and 40 is just something the media came up with without any bid it could be 35m for example then its what a 7 million difference? Like you said Edouard has the higher ceiling, he has the better pedigree, more strings to his bow and is a few years younger. I just can't see any reason not to bid for him before anyone else.

Very unimpressed with today’s links. We have such an opportunity this window to move on and I’m seeing the players we should have bid for moving elsewhere without reported bids from us. If the links are true and we are so unimaginative then just get Benrahma and Mbueno as the wide forwards and be done with it. if we end up with the lad at WBA last year and that waster from Bristol I will be livid.

Definitely and they need to be a proven entity too. Konsa may be good enough but to be sure we need to blood him with a properly competent centre back. Some people have mentioned Duffy from Brighton as an easy pick up I would like John Stones if they are getting rid of him

You don’t need to submit a bid you call the management company and ask them, and they let you know. To suggest a player is going to come to us on the cheap instead of to the top ten in the world clubs which are apparently after him is laughable.
